We stopped at The Cup for breakfast and had an amazing meal. The portion size is great not too much not too little and it was a dog friendly atmosphere. Our server could not be any nicer and was very attentive to our needs.

They seemed a bit short-handed, but they were so kind & told us the wait might be long. However, I’m so glad we stayed! The food was fantastic! Had the clam strip meal with fries & slaw. The tarter sauce was homemade & very good, too. The grandkids had biscuits & jelly, ate every bite, & ordered more to eat later!

A hidden gem. This place has it all. There is plenty of seating. 2 dining areas, plus outdoor seating. Parking for all. Well managed staff. Food comes out hot, fast, and fresh. You can taste the love the kitchen puts in the food.

If you say ‘Yes’ when someone asks you if you are hungry for breakfast, and you find yourself anywhere near Port Townsend, you have to go to The Cup. All day long you can get breakfast, but their location up the hill, is perfect to stop and eat. Check the specials to the right on the board when you walk in, the bacon, avocado Benedict with home fries is spot on. French toast? Yup, quite good, perfectly cooked. The coffee (they have yes for others) is perfect and deliciously not pretentious. Make sure to stop in, you won’t regret it (and might need a nap afterwards)!

Great place! We enjoyed our lunch outside, tasty meals. I had the omelet with cheese, mushrooms and avocado. It was really good. The service was outstanding, very attentive waitress. Overall an awesome place for a casual meal.

My first time in Port Townsend and found this gem of a diner! I got the Tillamook cheddar burger with mushrooms and fries. Usually burgers are not seasoned so I have to dump ranch on it to enjoy it. Not so at The Cup! Wonderfully seasoned beef patty was perfect and I was able to enjoy the taste! The cheese is from Oregon and was wonderful!! Mushrooms were thick cut and cooked perfectly! Most places overcook them. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned!! The staff were so friendly and amazing! The customers all seemed to be having a great time and enjoyed their food. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a surprisingly amazing lunch!!

We were greeted promptly. The server was very Nice and fast at making sure we had what we needed to be comfortable from the beginning. She was always checking in to make sure we had what we needed her to see if we need to anything else. My daughter had the eggs Benedict And had said it was one of the very best. I had had a couple sides things. That English muffin and they’re breakfast? Potatoes which were very good too.. The menu they had had quite a few different options. The service was very polite the environment was quite and very nice. Would definitely recommend to check out this restaurant and it’s food.

We usually love the Cup. Today must have been their off day. Breakfast was cold, and the service was super slow. The poor waitress had all the tables to herself, so she was trying really hard. We will be back and considered this an unusual experience. It is a great place to go and sit outside.
