Havana meets Baytown at The Cuban Cafe. Excellent, authentic Cuban food. Very friendly staff is very efficient. They have two other locations in Deer Park and Laporte. I will be a frequent diner at this location.

This is by far the best Cuban Sandwich I have had in the Houston area! Their Cuban coffee is on point!

Stopped in for lunch. Tried the Cuban sandwich and the yucca. Both were very good. The sandwich had all the flavors I expect from a Cuban sandwich including yellow mustard. The yucca was cooked differently than I have had elsewhere. It was served boiled with spices. I really enjoyed the flavor and the texture of the Yucca. If you are in the area and you like Cuban cuisine this is a must stop place.

I went to the restaurant today with a co-worker of mine he goes in there all the time and tell me how good the food is. When I looked at the menu they were offering three eggs a choice of meat homemade potatoes and toast for $9 when I end up checking out it cost over $12. I paid it then I started looking at my receipt then I noticed that they charged me 99 cents more for the breakfast then $1.50 for the meat when I receive the meal. I wonder if a question about it the rude cashier told me that the choice of me was extra but on the menu it does not say it’s extra. This place is misleading I don’t know how many customers they have gotten over on this error. So I will not recommend this place at all to anyone.

One of a few small handful of true mom and pop style dining experiences that will make you a regular. Amazing food at low prices and hands down the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Traveling through Texas and looking for a place for lunch found this place on Google Maps. Being from Miami FL a always enjoy finding a new place to try some Cuban food. Glad we found The Cuban Cafe! We enjoyed our lunch and now I am enjoying my Cafe Con Leche. My my wife has a Cuban sandwich and I had the Ropa Vieja with black beans, yellow rice, yucca and plantains. It was all very good!
