I had high hopes for this spot. We saw it all week from the hotel across Vanderbilt. After all with a name like, “The Crust,” it must be amazing. Rustic, hand tossed, bready. Mmm, right? No. Not even close. I can say Ive never had a pizza like this and hope I never do again.

We come to Florida every year for vacation and I wanted to try some place new! Oh my goodness!!! This pizza was absolutely delicious! The crust, texture and taste was awesome! Plus we met some special people who work there! Fabulous customer service! The atmosphere was great with unique canvas pictures of movie stars with pizza somewhere in the picture. Very clean and neat restaurant! WE WILL BE BACK GOD BLESS you all who work hard to make “The Crust Pizza” what it is!

Me and my husband and are grandkids were the only people in the crust it was the best service we have gone so much 10/10 and we ordered the pizza and salad it was so quick like 10 minutes for pizza and 5 minutes for the salad and drinks as soon as we walked in they seated us and then our server came she was so nice love Mason Kennedy

I really can’t understand why this pizza was rated so highly. Even though thin crust nothing like New York style. We were both disappointed. I had done for lunch today and asked myself why I was being so frugal as I should just have pitched it!!! Truly the best pizza and crust I can remember having. Excellent crust. We had both regular and gluten free. I went for lunch with friends and the experience – all around – was so good I took my husband back for dinner. The service was very friendly and attentive. Everyone working there paid attention to the customers, spoke to people, looked to see if anything was needed, and were both very well trained and very hard working. The pizza crust was excellent and the toppings were both fresh and generous. Fresh salads as well. I’ve eaten gluten free pizza different places and if I hadn’t ordered it from the menu, I would have said it couldn’t have been gluten free. There has definitely been a significant amount of attention to even the smallest detail in planning this restaurant. Check out the photos on the walls too – very creative. Don’t miss this restaurant! One of the questions below asks about bar scene. There was a counter you could sit at, but I wouldn’t say it was a “bar scene”. Also, the price was very fair for what we had. We had 2 pizzas, a salad and two drinks (no alcohol) for $38. I know they have take-out, but I don’t know if they do delivery. They are open from 11am to10 pm I think, so I don’t know if that qualifies for late night.

Excellent! Had been planning to try The Crust and then there was a review in yesterday’s “In the 239” so off we went. Couldn’t tell from review if it was thin and crispy, like traditional pizzas or something else. Well, this was definitely “something else.” It was terrific! It was crispy, which we love, but it was a puffy, crispy crust and yummy flavor. Had the “Family Favorite” and the “Palermo” – both 10″. And there was still enough to take home. Can’t recommend it enough! Beer – and wine – yes, wine — on tap!
