OMG! For my first time eating at The Crushed Tomato in LaFayette, GA it was an awesome experience!! Our server, Gracie was wonderful! Top notch food and service. The restaurant was very clean and the style was just down right cool! I love giving reviews on excellent local restaurants and I’ll have to say, without reservation…The Crushed Tomato is excellent. When a place can check ALL the boxes…woo hoo! This location definitely does just that! I highly recommend giving them a try. For desert there’s some of the BEST cheesecake you can find and an assortment of ice cream. Yummy! I’ve included photos of the menu so you can see what they offer.

My daughter and I both got calzones. They were huge and delicious ! We both had half and took the rest home. Service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive.

Had the pleasure of eating at the second location today. And It was just as good as the first AND they gave me ice cream on my favorite colored cone. Natalie and her staff are the sweetest. I will absolutely return!

We happened upon this pizzeria and hoped for the best. While “tidy” I wouldn’t call the tables & chairs clean as the seemed sticky. We were the only customers eating in though a few came by for pick up. I ordered water with lemon, no lemon provided. I asked again and was given lemon packets. The others in our group ate pizza and said it was very good. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about my salad. I guess no one knows how to make a salad?? And the dressing was thick & gloppy! Glad it was served on the side. The service was uber casual, but maybe it’s the norm for this small town? Whatever the case, this dining experience was NOT one I’ll be repeating.

Food was good. Prices were decent. Our server was not the nicest at all. In fact would say down right rude with us. That is if she took the time to care. Everything was matter of fact and that’s all. Took our drink order. Walked away without saying anything. Brought the drinks. Took our order, walked away without saying anything. She was nice to us. Only when we went to pay. Gotta get the tip, right? Like everything else in the experience didn’t matter. Picture is of our waitress. The one in the middle.

This was the 3rd or 4th time we got take-out from the crushed tomato. My husband really likes their calzones. I usually get their cheese steak sub. I like their cheese steak sub, they aren’t the best but they are pretty good. What I don’t like is, they don’t use iceberg lettuce, they use romaine which in my opinion belongs in a salad not on a hot sub. Romaine on a sub is just sad and ruins the sub for me personally. This time I skipped the lettuce and just ordered the sub as is and I enjoyed it. I would have enjoyed it more with iceberg lettuce but I digress.

I was in town working and ended up working late. I rushed over here as soon as I could because I had heard it was great.

Delicious food in an attractive setting. I’ve had both Hawaiian pizza and the Buffalo Chicken Salad on several occasions. Don’t forget to try the cheesecake. Yum!
