The food is delicious, seafood and chips, their main signature dish is clam chowder. Fried shrimp are my favorites, in my opinion the food is very tasty. the atmosphere is familiar and it is close to several shops and attractions

If you are looking for value, it’s really a great place. We got two fresh large crabs, fried squid, and shrimp cocktail and juice. All for $74 + tips (versus other restaurants around $65 per crab).

Delicious lobster roll with loads of large chunks of lobster and just the right amount of mayo or sauce to pull it together. Served with lemon and hot butter on the side. Fish and chips (curly fries) were good too.

This place feels like you’re eating local even though it’s located right in the middle of a tourist area. The prices were much cheaper than most places and the portions were a good sized. The shrimp roll was loaded with shrimp, just wish the bread wasn’t so hard to bite into and cold. I wish it was like toasted or with butter on it or something. The crab was reasonably priced and was super good!

Gross! We ordered a crab cake sandwich. What we got were 2 pieces of something that resembled deep fried hockey pucks, on a loaf of bread. Pretty sure there was no crab involved. Don’t waste your money!

The crab station is a tourist trap but since we’re in Fisherman’s Wharf, we are going to try the seafood and this place is probably cheaper than other places here. We got the lobster roll for $32. It came with plenty of lobster, the bread was cold and a little hard to bite into. But I found myself enjoying it more and more as we ate it. In the end, I was pretty satisfied with my meal. I wish the bread was tossed in butter and toasted but this is a fast business with long lines, so I get it. There are other less expensive options like crab sandwiches which look around the same size as the lobster roll. Would come here again to try other stuff!

If I could tell tourists one thing about eating good in San Francisco it would be “go to the crab station and have a sandwich. No place on earth makes them like here….open market at fisherman’s wharf. My husband and I drive an hour pay the toll and parking just to have one of these famous crab sandwiches. Stroll the shops but these sandwiches are the best !!!

I was looking forward to seeing grand tasting but was a bit disappointing. I heard the food in the piers of San Fran was to die for but…. No. I’m not really into fried seafood but this was nothing special. Tasted like any other deep fried seafood joint.

Street food station along Jefferson street. Food is average for hungry stomach. The fried oyster is fresh and crispy, pretty nice. But chowder is not as fantastic as I thought, can be better.
