I seem to always forget this place exists. When it opened years ago on another part of town, it was a packed place for some time. This location is only easy to get to on bike or foot. The burgers are solid and always have a great flavor. Today I got the BBQ Burger and tots. The tots were a little mushy for my liking, but still tasted great. The Burger lacked the heat I was looking for, but it was still very satisfying. If you are downtown during breakfast or lunch, this is a consistent spot with a lot of tasty options. Enjoy!

It’s always busy for lunch but the service is great and fast, I work downtown so I eat here at least once a week. The western burger is my favorite. They only give you a handful of fries but they are always hot and fresh. The burger are cooked to perfection and juicy.

Just avoid. This place could be good, but lacks robust management and has terrible quality control. Orders get messed up all the time, and when they do, the diner has to face all the consequences because the restaurant will not help. Burnt food or missing order components? Too bad, no refund.

Burger was great, but I was given too little sweet potato fries to justify a dollar upcharge.

If you want the best down and dirty, pure meat and cheese burger in OKC, come to this place! I ordered the Triple Lucy, which is three 3 oz patties, 3 slices of cheese, and pickles! The burger meat here is amazing! I would say, probably in the Top 5 burgers in my life! Onion rings are crispy and wonderful. They have many more burgers, such as the Oklahoma original onion burger and a Lucy in any size from a single to quadruple! Chicken strips weren’t bad either (for the nephew). Check it out peeps!! Two Thumbs Up and a happy belly!!!

I would not even give it a one star. Sorry I had to. Jackie always gets my order wrong every time. She gets my husband’s correct everytime. I do not know why she treats me this way everytime. I am NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN. She does not care that I’m allergic to sausage. I ask for bacon every time and buts sausage unless some important higher up is there. Then she gets it right. One time I even had raw meet because of her. I hate raw meat and she knows it. And she never even gave him the receipt either. She just wants me to get sick.

Great food and great service! I called in a burger 30 minutes early and it was hot and ready when I got there. It’s the place to eat if you have to be down town okc!

Excellent burgers, good grilled onions, and good quantity of food for the price. Many varieties on the menu to choose from.

I previously gave this restaurant a tepid review, but I am revising it down. This restaurant could be fine, but suffers a clear crisis of management. Quality control is nonexistent, and when they cook your food to a crisp or forget part of your order, no one is willing to make it right. This restaurant’s level of attention and service would not pass muster for fast food, much less at this price point.

We were in town for the Van Gogh exhibition and had planned to go to Nick’s Grill, but they were unexpectedly closed. So, we “stumbled” upon The Cow Calf-Hay. We’re glad we did!
