I now have a new favorite restaurant! Covington has exceptional staff, amazing flavors and combinations, top notch freshness, and is an all-around fantastic place. We actually went back for dinner here during our four night stay because it was that good, and we wanted to try the other dishes. We shared the sweet potato rolls, squash and beans, smoked beets, garden salad, basil and walnut pesto ricotta gnocchi, and mushroom ragu. All were amazingly delicious and presented quickly and beautifully. Both evenings we dined outside at a lovely little side table. This place is hard to beat! I would give it six stars if I could.

Knock my socks off! Wait, we don’t wear socks on Martha’s Vineyard. No matter. This restaurant welcomed us without a reservation and treated us like royalty. The food was crazy good and the non alcoholic drinks were amazingly creative and healthy. Can’t wait to go back. 5 stars!

The food was beyond exceptional, the flavor profile hit all the right notes… our server was Summer who was a breath of fresh air being so knowledgeable about the menu and where the food was sourced. The atmosphere (outside side walk) was mediocre at best, but thankfully the food and service did all the heavy lifting and it worked. I can’t wait to go back.

Our second time dining at The Covington and it didn’t disappoint. We split the spicy cucumbers which were once again excellent and also the clams with chorizo. Delicious. We normally don’t get the same entree but couldn’t resist the bolognese which was very good. Wonderful service and so all in all a great experience.

If you only go to one restaurant in Edgartown, make it this one. The food is exquisite. Flavors keep rolling off your tongue with each dish. Think Mediterranean with a twist. Cocktails were complex and delicious. Right in the heart of things, but don’t let that stop you. Just a few blocks from the bus depot if you are coming from OB or VH. Don’t drive into Edgartown if you want to enjoy dinner. The service was superb. Our server had a great handle on the menu and good recommendations. Just an all around wonderful dining experience!

Everything was delicious from the potato bread, to the honey pie, just excellent. Dinging one star from atmosphere just because the seating was outside on the side of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

What a good find! The food is the best I’ve tried on the island. Above and beyond with flavors and variety of ingredients. I had the seafood homemade pasta that was absolutely delicious. I will be back! Oh, and staff was incredibly polity and attentive, better than average.
