Worth the drive! Beautiful lakefront setting. All staff we communicated with were friendly, kind, sincere and genuinely concerned for our comfort, dining and atmosphere approval. Mind you, we showed up at about 7:15pm, thus those employees had been at it for many hours. Our waitress was so very kind, attentive, knowledgeable and smiley! She really made our experience very nice. The food was better than we expected! Caesar salad, which was a welcome side choice to my huge crunchy and tender breaded chicken sandwich, was more authentic than most non Greek restaurants. My husband enjoyed their broasted chicken with their signature mac-n-cheese. Kudos to you all! We’ll be back…. with many friends many times! Oh… The parking at the lower level is quite convenient but we assume that gets filled quite fast. There seems to be plenty of parking up top but we’re not sure if there’s shuttles to bring you down to the entrance? You might want to call the verify.

If you need good food with great service, this is the place to stop! Stopped for a small bite and cocktails, must try the cremesickle cocktail it was great! Other than the amazing views I must say the manager Randy was at great service during my visit, super helpful and friendly. I will certainly be back with friends and family!

Was in Galena for the weekend, and someone at our hotel recommended this place. Got there before the dinner rush, and we had a perfect table outside with a great view across Apple Canyon Lake. Drinks were generous, and the food was far better than I would have guessed, considering the view. So many times, these “dinner with a view” places have bland food, but The Cove was much better than it needed to be. The menu isn’t fancy or pretentious, and everything we had was yummy. Randy, the manager, stopped by to check on us, which we appreciated. We’ll definitely be coming back here!

Went here Friday March 25th 2023. While I understand they were short handed on staff due to the college kids goign back to school. THey told us 20 minute wait fora tbale and it was over an hour. We then ordered right away and the food took forever to cook and be brought out. I had a regular burger and it was just ok. My french fries were cold as ice. The only saving factor was the server , she was great and from what we hear she also worked the pool the enitre day prior to being called in as a server.

We love the patio! The limited menu was so-so. Broasted chicken was pretty dry, but the prime rib was delicious. It looked like they were under-staffed. Ran out of lettuce for salads shortly after we received ours and tables around us had long waits for food. Hopefully, it was just early season issues that have been ironed out.

The quality of the food vs the price is not in line for this area. The menu was limited which normally means the few things served would be excellent but that was not the case. Had a burger that was mediocre. The seating area is small and easily becomes too loud.

Gracie and Randy are awesome. Great service and so personable. Made some great bourbon cocktails and great Italian beef au jus platter!! So glad to be coming back. Looking forward to our next visit!!!
