Service and food was excellent. The owner was friendly and got to know more about the restaurant which was awesome. The baby back ribs, brisket, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, everything we ordered was fresh and handmade, no off the truck and heat & serve food. The owner/cook makes his own sauces for everything and they are delicious. The cornbread is to die for. Enjoyed everything ordered. I recommend trying this place. You won’t be disappointed. I know I will be returning.

Had dinner with my parents today June 30th.I added to a previous post so not sure what date it will show once I post this. The waitress was wonderful. Our food came quickly and hot. First came the cornbread cooked in little cast iron skillets. Sooo delicious. Me and Mom got the Chicken Marsala. And my Dad got the Smothered Chicken. Both were very good. Portions are so huge, they were both eating the corn. They said it was really good. Not only was the waitress very attentive, Chef Leventry came to the table to see how we were doing. Nice atmosphere with relaxing music. I usually stop for their 50¢ wing night on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but I’ll have to stop in to eat more often. And to also learn the waitresses name since I’ve seen her several times for takeouts. Thank you again for a nice night out.

This place has such delicious and very quality food. It’s not just quality, but the portions are great. We weren’t expecting as much food as we got, but we were pleasantly surprised. We got two appetizers, the loaded potato brisket wedge things and the cheesy smothered garlic fries with tons of butter. Amazing. I also got the Brisket meal which was a 10/10 and the candied yams and cornbread were the best I’ve ever eaten. We also got the Honey Butter Hot Fried Chicken entree — also very good. I think if you’re hungry and passing this place by, you’re making a big mistake! Lol. The servers were friendly and helpful and chef was very nice; he came out to make sure the food was good. Please come here and experience the best food you’ve had in a long time!

Very very delicious fresh dinner! Cooked to perfection!! Nice clean atmosphere! Very budget friendly! I’ve had the fried chicken dinners, outstanding, the BBQ dinner, amazing, their wings, so good and quite a bit of their fresh home cooked sides( Mac and cheese and collard greens) and that Cornbread is out of this world!!!

This place is truly a little GEM!! The food is amazing, the staff is very pleasant, and the chef/owner made us feel like family… I’ve been there twice so far (took my children to dinner on Wednesday afternoon), and will definitely be going back!!

First time dining here and WOW! Let me just say there is nothing bland about the menu nor the flavors. We had very attentive servers, lots of food and the price for the quality is a bargain. We will be returning for the brisket that was freshly made in house by the chef and may need to take home that Bananas Foster!! Unfortunately those items never made it to my camera roll because they were too delicious to remember.

Wow now this is a club aka clubin sandwich,this is not your regular club.The food ,service and quality of food is fantastic. As you can see by first pic the lady said I’ll be right back with your corn bread . The second pic is the corn bread and this is not your regular corn bread. I’ll take this with me and eat it as a meal later. Now you don’t have to leave town for great BBQ , southern food and other dishes, the tacos looked good.

Today was my first time at this restaurant. It is absolutely fabulous the best barbecue I have ever had. Cornbread and Greens and mac and cheese were absolutely delicious. Huge portions. I cannot say enough good about this meal. The service was excellent and restaurant is spotless. Thank you for bringing this to New Castle.
