This restaurant is the best restaurant in Vermont! We had a lovely dinner during our romantic getaway. The service is fantastic, there is live music, and the food is spectacular. My husband and I shared the brisket mac and cheese as an appetizer. He had the scallops and shrimp as his entree, and I had the mushroom and spinach risotto. Both were delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed the chocolate mousse, and my husband had the maple strawberry cheesecake special. We can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous all around. Great food, drinks, service, atmosphere. My husband and I got a paper plane and brown ale to start, and ate a kale caesar salad and brisket mac and cheese for dinner. Servings were generous and I thoroughly enjoyed the choice of orecchiette in the mac and cheese, only suggestion would have been to include a few more larger bits of the delicious brisket to give it a little more textural variation. Bravo, Copper Fox, we’ll be back someday.

Great atmosphere! We all loved our drinks and every dish was amazing! There was live music too! We love this place!

Great band from Walpole NH played tonight. We had the Buffalo Cauliflower and Dirty potatoes for the table. Both were good, the Cauliflower was my fave. I ordered the flank streak and my husband ordered the Fox pizza, both were excellent. Very pricey, excellent food, great entertainment.

Fabulous! The welcoming staff, the service, and the food was absolutely amazing. We opted to share a salad, a pizza and a dessert and enjoyed every bite, the aroma and the presentation. Don’t miss this place on your visit on South East of Vermont.

Every time I’m home visiting my parents, we visit The Copper Fox and it’s amazing every time. Not wanting a salad like I usually get, I asked the waiter what I could modify to make vegan. He said I could order the vegan chef choice, a dish the chef (Nick) makes up. I love surprises and it didn’t disappoint, it was delicious! It had sauteed mushrooms, onions, and spinach; some kind of Coleslaw salad with crispy chickpeas; and some refried beans topped with a sort of rice cake. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor! This is the quintessential Vermont bar/restaurant everyone needs to visit.

This is a fantastic little place. It’s right on main Street, cozy little building with probably 50 seats inside? I arrived right about 7:30 and there was a musician setting up, and I was able to grab a seat at the bar with no issue. I think the tables were pretty full with either folks there or reservations but it looked like from watching one would have opened up soon enough if I wanted it. The decor was relatively simple but I really liked it, and all the staff was all very nice.

I liked restaurant & employees but the brisket Mac & cheese was a disaster. We couldn’t even it it. They need to take that off the menu. I like fine dining & this isn’t it. Their clam chowder was excellent though.

1st attempt to dine here the open flag was up doors were open and customer inside eating, I was told that they were closed upon entering. I said Your sign says open, the lady snapped back and said we are closed rather nasty towards me so we head to another spot for lunch my date and I. I choose to not give them my business for a few years. Fast forward 3 years I decide to give them another chance and once again the flag is up and folks are eating inside and I am told that they are not open while flag out front says that they are. I live in Springfield VT 5 minutes from the front door, I will not try for a third time. If you want a good meal with pleasant staff I would recommend Leslie’s in Rockingham. Hopefully this review will save you from an unwelcoming experience.

Was given the wrong beer and had my mussels spilled on me. But service and food was good. Music was great. But disappointing that the manager kept asking the band to turn down.
