The staff was kind and the place is beautiful. However, although they do have a kid menu, not sure I’d proclaim it kid friendly. Food was pretty tasty, but some plates were small for the price. The house salad was definitely the most impressive, but you can skip the pot pie. Certainly convenient for a visit, but if you have kids burnt out from walking around a museum all day, it’s not an ideal spot.

This was my first time dining and it is a very nice option for lunch, brunch(Sunday’s only), or dinner, and the ambiance is beautiful. If you are a member, you receive 20% off your food bill every visit. All I can say is, try the pop-overs and thank me later!! The mango raspberry mimosa was a nice cocktail and the grilled cheese was very good with a caramelized onion jam which was very tasty, along with the zucchini fries! My friend had the monte cristo and said it was very good! For dessert, we tried the crème brûlée and butter cake. Both were delicious! Natalie was our server who is kind and attentive. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!

Great night at a very beautiful restaurant. The staff was friendly and the decor spectacular. All the food we ordered was well plated and tasted great. This place is very underrated and the reviews do not reflect my experience. Very romantic and stylish.

Nestled inside the visitors center on the immense grounds of the Edsel Ford house, ( he was Fords only son just an FYI), is the small bistro restaurant The Continental. Named after the iconic car , it not only shares beautiful styling and ambience but quality.

The Continental popped up in my Facebook feed and my Husband & I thought we would give it a try. FYI: I would recommend reservations. Lots of parking, beautiful surroundings and very friendly Host. Our server was Leanne and she was very nice and attentive. My husband had a beer, I had a seltzer and for our meal he got the burger and I had the soup of the day along with the Maurice salad. All very delicious and portions were a perfect size. Had no room for dessert but they all sounded wonderful. We came on an evening when they had live music and really enjoyed it – it made it a little extra special We will be back and might do lunch next time so we can tour the house & grounds.

It is a beautiful setting on the Ford estate, casual but trendy, nice for all ages. They have inside and outside dining. You will be seated in a partially covered patio next to the water. The menu is very inviting, as is the service. It all made for a very enjoyable meal. I suggest you call and make a reservation in advance, although I didn’t find it to be overly busy at lunchtime midweek.

One of the best kept secret in the points. Wonderful service and food in a carefully designed setting down to the silverware. Not a large menu both at lunch or dinner, but a good selection of entrees, salads, starters, and desserts. A few items you can’t find elsewhere like the Monte Cristo sandwich. You don’t have to be a member to eat there. Reservations are not needed but you may want to do.

Recently became a member and we’ve been enjoying exploring the grounds, learning the history, and consuming delicious lunches and dinners. The hosts and servers are always friendly. My only complaint is the last time we enjoyed dinner here, the filet was absolutely delicious, but it would be nice to include a side of potatoes. You get soup or salad and a filet on top of a very small amount of Swiss chard. The atmosphere and live music were very enjoyable.

We went to The Continental on Saturday February 19th. We had 5:00 PM reservation (which are required.) Everything was incredible from the crabcakes to the burger with steak fries, to the side salad. The icing on the cake was the butter cake with Sanders hot fudge. Bree was an amazing and a very attentive server. She was kind, patient, and also gave great suggestions. Make sure she is your server. I’ll definitely be back to The Continental.
