Great location and experience. We ended up eating inside untill it cooled down before heading out to listen to the live band. The food was great with all the vegetables locally grown and bought. They have a variety of mixed drinks and beer on tap. Service is fantastic and didn’t take to long for the appetizers and meals to be delivered. The outdoor seating area is good for groups and the benches give you the opportunity to talk and meet everyone there. Great time and will be heading back.

Expect to pay a premium on sub-par food. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the fried egg sandwich. After tip, tax, and service charge, the total was about 46 dollars for outdoor beer garden dining. *no drinks*

The take-out service was fast, friendly, and super attentive! The moment I stepped inside, I was amazed by the vibrant and modern interior design, which was a pleasant surprise considering the unassuming exterior. They’ve got a ton of games to choose from, like ping pong, which added a fun element to the ambiance. I loved the interactive areas, like the blackboard wall on the way to the bathrooms, which were a unique touch. If you head downstairs, you’ll find a bar.

This is such a cute little gem!! Literally everything was perfect and I’m glad I finally checked it out! As soon as we walked up, we smelled the smell of burning firewood which just makes me feel so good and excited for summer nights. The food was so delicious and well-made and the ambiance is top tier. Although I went with a friend, the vibe can easily be romantic or family friendly.

Let me start by saying that if you don’t make a reservation, you may have a sub-par experience. We came here on a whim after hearing about the nice venue. It was fully booked, but the beer garden is open to anyone and doesn’t require reservations, which was great. When you get downstairs, you order food from a kiosk, they prepare the food and put it in a paper bag on a shelf for pick up. There are not a lot of options for food, which was surprising to me. Everything on the menu seemed pretty simple – salads, bagels, sandwiches. Nothing really unique that I felt compelled to try, so I got an egg sandwich. After we left the restaurant, I looked at the brunch menu online which does have other options that I would have liked to try. Do they only offer those for dine-in people who make reservations? Who knows.

I was disappointed in what I ordered – grilled branzino. The vinaigrette on the salad lacked flavor other than lemon. The potato wedges were somewhat dry. There was nothing else on the plate to contrast or complement the lemon flavor on the salad. My daughter had the chicken parmigiana which was quite good – very large portion. My niece ordered the pappardelle with mushrooms – it looked tasty. The crab dip was delightful.

We are the spice bandits! Yes, you read that correctly. My husband and I both have an allergy to different spices, one of which is all things pepper. This makes going to restaurants near to impossible. When restaurants describe themselves as a scratch kitchen or allergy friendly, we are the litmus test. Add in our friends who are gluten-free and vegan, and well, we’re a real treat. We’re happy to share that the Comus Inn passes with flying colors.

Cozy and quaint restaurant with excellent food and a quality selection of craft beer. Feels like an old farmhouse renovated. They seats up and down stairs. You can find rustic farmhouse vibes everywhere you look. The menu is a smidge upscale but it’s a high quality take on pub grub, in my opinion. We had the BLT and the pizza. Sound plain but how they elevate it is with a pound of bacon on fresh bread and the pizza is thick and crunchy with a tangy sauce. Would recommend if you are in upper Montgomery County or begging to get off of 270 at any point.

I followed this restaurant on social media for a while and finally got the chance to go. We started off with the avocado toast. The taste reminded me of pepperoni, my friend said it needed salt, that it was bland. I ordered the breakfast burger, all the ingredients were fresh and my plate came out hot so I really enjoyed it. The chicken & waffle came out cold. The breading on the chicken was extremely thick, it really caught me off guard. The Buffalo sauce tasted like a pepper sauce. The fries were hot and crispy so they were good. I also ordered a pumpkin spice latte, it didn’t have any pumpkin flavor. The presentation is jaw dropping, anyone who saw this would drool. However, the taste was way off. The location is beautiful, lots of parking, great scenery. Disappointed in the brunch. I would like to come back some other time and try their actual menu and see if it’s any better. Customer service great! Waitress was extremely friendly. We arrived early before our appointment and the hostess sat us so that was great.

We had a belated Valentines dinner at Comus Inn, and enjoyed our time immensely. The beer and wine selection is excellent, and the menu is full of interesting options. We chose to go with the two entrees our server John recommended, and they didn’t disappoint. The short ribs were delicious and nicely presented, the perfect savory dish. The duck was delicious and the bourbon cider sauce excellent. We enjoyed the renovated space and lovely decor, and are grateful to have such a nice dining option so close to home!
