Delicious selection of tapas and house made pasta! I can’t believe I overlooked this wonderful addition to downtown Anderson. The food is as amazing as the interior design, go check it out!

While aesthetics are desirable, I find that even more important is the atmosphere and how welcoming staff can make you feel.. and in that, The Common House delivers! Their friendliness is unbeatable here in town and while they have an amazing menu and delicious drinks, that is what will keep me coming back to any establishment. But, that being said.. the food is top notch as well as their chai lattes (iced!)

My sister and I initially went to Bradbury bistro to grab some breakfast but quickly realized all they sell are coffee and pastries. So we headed down the street to see what the common house had to offer and we were so impressed! I had the egg bites and my sister had the avocado toast. Both were absolutely delicious! They also had $5 mimosas, score! The place is quite large with plenty of seating yet it still feels intimate. They also offer lots of different lattes and tea drinks as well. I also got a pastry to go, I believe it was some chocolate swirl stick, and it was also delicious.

The Common House is uncommonly exceptional. Still in it’s first year, they have already proven themselves to be a staple of quality in Downtown Anderson. Knowledgeable and friendly staff in a warm and welcoming environment serving the best coffee within 100 miles. (Yes I mean better than anything in Greenville!) Their menu is thoughtfully crafted and very well priced for the outstanding quality they consistently deliver. I haven’t tried any mixed drinks yet, but I know they will be fantastic. Also, great tunes selection!

Incredible. My favorite place in Anderson, hands down. I’ve been coming to the common house frequently since opening week, and have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is unreal. The staff are all extremely friendly and always make an effort to get to know the customers. The coffee is great and reasonably priced (try the dirty chai with oatmilk!), but the atmosphere and the people is what keeps me coming back. The Common House is exactly what Anderson has been needing.

Very cool new place to check out! The interior is beautiful with an upstairs & downstairs that have an industrial yet farm to table ambiance. You order when you walk in, but it was a bit unclear as to what wine & beer offerings there were. Docking a star, bc they ran out of cold pinot grigio & don’t offer any domestic beer for those that don’t enjoy craft beer. Also, only 2 individual, unisex bathrooms downstairs, which resulted in lines & waiting. You can also order more once seated. They had a live sax player, which was really nice but made it a bit hard to have conversation in the lower area. The food was OUTSTANDING! Had the charcuterie board & butternut squash soup (best I’ve ever had & a smidge thicker & different than many I’ve tried). Compliments to the chef! The service was great & prices were good. We’ll def be going back here often!

What a cool place to work for a bit. The atmosphere is totally chill with lots of space to sit and the coffee and breakfast were delicious. The employees were also very kind and helpful.

an hour and a half into our visit, only one of the three person party has been served. I was not served anything remotely close to my original order because they ran out of ravioli due to a large party visiting that day. even if that story is true, there is no reason why the cooks couldn’t have made more or at least gotten the waiters to let the customers know before they ordered. Overall, i am dissatisfied with this restaurants quality and the performance of its staff

In town for a wedding and I found The Common House! This place is a gem. Great vibes, great food, great coffee, and great service. I know all of these things because I came here to eat one night and to have coffee today. Easily a 5-star rating for them. You won’t be disappointed if you drop by.
