WORST TACOS, WINGS & FRIES EVER!! Just look at the pictures. Their “chicken” (more like chick) wings are the size of a pinky! And very very VERY salty!! As for the tacos, the meat has no flavor and the taco shells are oily. And to top it off, they even botched the fries! I’m amazed how they managed to make it inedible. Frozen store-bought fries tastes heavenly compared to theirs. I’m deeply saddened by this. What a waste of time, money and food.

The Code has been a great addition to the strip there in Lake Villa. I love that the owner has made this a place where anyone can come enjoy. For example if Karaoke is your thing they have a night for that and they recently did an event in the parking lot of nice fast cars where the kids were able to come and see them and sit in them. This has actually turned into our families favorite place to get tacos and wings as well. I also attended a party there last weekend and I loved how it was handled. A fight actually broke out and security cleared the building for safety reasons and then allowed us to renter once the young ladies were removed. The club promotes a safety first atmosphere and I love that because I know when going to party at the Code I will be safe first and foremost and will have a great time as well. I will definitely be back again and tell everyone I know about those great tacos…Get there and thank me later.

Great Food great atmosphere great music.!! Staff was very respectful and friendly.. The owner came out to greet us and make sure everything was on point and that we were accommodated with everything needed.!! Definitely will be back.!! I recommend the chicken tacos .!! Best in the lake county area.!

Visited for my sisters birthday and we absolutely loved it!! The staff was very friendly, the owner came out and made sure our section was comfortable. The best part was the food!! Highly recommend the chicken taco and wings combo! The drinks were amazing, the DJ was live, the entire experience was great! We can’t wait to come back!

The Code Sports bar is one of the best bars in Lake County . Atmosphere is totally a vibe . Food is delicious … tacos and chicken is emaculent. The staff they is awesome. I love everything about the bar.

Such an upgrade from the previous bar! Good music, great food/drinks and the staff are all very friendly. Perfect touch to the area. Good atmosphere for everyone. Can’t wait to go back for Friday karaoke.

Tacos was so good! The club/night life if I could give it 0 starts I def would. I would not party here ever again in life, they take your money and then when something happens out of your control, the security puts you out, pull out guns and threaten you. My next step is calling the BBB on this establishment, they treated us like trash!!!

Worst night experience in my life. 3 fights broke out within 1 hour of the vicinity. The wings were amazing but we bought a section and they NEVER brought out the bottles. We got here at 10 and closed at 2. They told us at 1am that they were out of bottles. Never again. I’m so embarrassed.
