happened upon this place by chance after MP purchase nearby… it’s a trip- VERY LOCAL/ rural vibe… people/ staff SUPER friendly & kind- just stopped for lunch & had open face meatloaf sandy lunch special… WAY better than what expected- actually grilled it & better than normal bread, mashed redskins & gravy were spot on. We came on a Sunday around 115 pm. Server gave us a menu and when we tried to order a chicken dinner she promptly said oh we don’t do dinners until 4 pm but pointed out the rest of the menu to order from. We picked another selection soup and salad bar. Nope that was taken down. So we ordered the club car club sandwich. Came back and said no turkey but could have ham instead. We said no thank you just give us our drink bill . And we left. Hate to say but we won’t be back.

Found this place while going to a flea market, it is so amazing. I had the messy Jesse, it’s a melt, and it was so tasty. We also had the hog daddy pulled pork sandwich absolutely wonderful. And our waitress was so accommodating and friendly.

Good place for lunch. Had a great burger and a salad. the service was great in prompt and on top of their game. My salad came right away with some amazing ranch. Then I ordered a haystack hamburger that was cooked perfectly and was great-tasting. Came out just about when I was done with my salad. Than after I was done got a lemonade to go. Perfect lunch will be back…

This was our first time. Because they’re known for pickerel, that’s what we had. Can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but it was plenty to eat and we were all very happy with it. French fries were so-so; I prefer them cut and cooked with skins on. Loved the old train car setting and reasonable prices.

It’s very unique, to say the least. They are not like the average chain restaurants. If you want, you can dine in a vintage train car. I brought my family of 4 and got out under 80, so it was fairly priced as well. Come check it out.

There was a group of us in the D ave bar which is downstairs from the restaurant. The music inside was very loud, which made it gard to talk. There was no service you hsve to get your own drinks & food & also clean up behind yourself. That would be fine if you weren’t charging a surcharge for using a credit card. The customer is doing all the work, so why charge the surcharge. The customer shouldn’t be paying for your credit card machine. You, as the business owner, are responsible for that. Plus, it’s tax deductible. It definitely will not be a do-over for this group of people.
