Beautifully done new restaurant. Wood tables with glass tops, cloth napkins, glasses, and crisp white plates. Stopped in for lunch and tried the buffet to be able to sample a wide variety. All in all it was good. For me personally I prefer quite a bit more spice and spices but it was tasty. I think the buffet is a nice safe place for newcomers to try Indian food for the first time. Next time I come I will order off the menu to spice things up. Great service and kind staff. I’ll be back.

Many years ago we went to a little Greek restaurant only to find out that it had been bought out and it was their first day serving Indian food (along with gyros ). The people were so nice and the food was so good that we became regulars. We moved away long ago but about once a year we drive through TN. We always make a detour. Partially because of the food which is still great and partially because the people are great. This time when we went they had moved to a new stand alone location which is a huge upgrade from the small storefront they used to have. They now have room for a very nice buffet with a wide selection, a well stocked bar area and a spacious dining area. We tried the buffet which was really nice, and took Chicken Tikka to go. Oh…also their Lamb Boti is excellent. We will be back next year.

Best Indian food in town. We have been going to their other location for years. The other location still offers take out. Buffet is $13.99 per person. New place has a nice atmosphere and a bar. Plenty of parking and seating. The nan is the best I have ever had in my life. No one does nan like Clay pit. The othe Indian Restaurants in town do not compare.

We have always love Clay Pit, but this new location has stepped it up even more. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and feels very comfortable. Very clean and the service was excellent . The Nan is the best I have ever had and the same as the original location. The lunch buffet was delicious. They also have a full bar in here as well.

This restaurant is phenomenal. I have dined at Indian restaurants in the US and abroad (London, Singapore, even Paris) and this compares favorably in every way. Service was stellar and the food was fresh and incredibly tasty. Portions big enough for at least two meals. Cannot wait to come back!

What a great place. The lunch Buffet is why we go. A variety of foods and always exceptional service. John has almost always been our waiter. He makes you feel like you are at a fine dining experience. The menue changes, and for a Buffet, it has at least 12 different dishes to try. I am a big fan of their soups that change every time I am there. So rich and flavorful. If you haven’t tried it. You must. You will not be disappointed.
