So I will start off with the positives, the hostess and waitress were both phenomenal, the restaurant was clean and had a decent atmosphere but could surely use some updating. Unfortunately we felt the food itself was mediocre. I ordered steak which was rare (asked for medium well) it was extremely hard to chew and swallow, the shrimp was bland and rubbery. I l Did ask to recook steak but was still very bloody. Macaroni and cheese was overcooked and the riggies lacked flavor.

The Cider Mill has some of the best food in town paired with the best service around and a lovely outdoor dining set up.

The atmosphere is elegant and peaceful outside. The wait staff were incredible. The fucacia bread is to die for. Probably the best I have ever had.

Pros: Nice atmosphere and good service. The Riggies provided a generous portion of food, including a ton of spicy sausage and fresh bell peppers. The homemade focaccia was the highlight of my meal.

Had reservations for 2, upon arriving was told that they had a cancelation and we could sit outside if we wished. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. Riggies were excellent, I chose the roasted chicken was perfectly tender and moist. Also had the Flourless chocolate cake with black raspberry ice cream Husband had the smoked salmon pasta and Strawberry Rhubarb shortcake, he enjoyed both. He also enjoyed the Strawberry Rhubarb Negroni cocktail he had with dinner!

Super cute spot in the Syracuse area! Relaxed and homey atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cocktails were all good especially the strawberry jalapeño mule, they do a great job with that! The star of the show were the lamb chop lollipops, uniquely sweet flavor which I don’t typically find. I love that the deviled eggs were dressed with lox and everything bagel seasoning. Entrees came out great as well, they have an option to substitute for beyond meat patties on any of their burger options. Last but not least, desserts were worth getting even though my boyfriend and I were both stuffed! The cider donut one seems to be the most popular. All around great experience!

Food was absolutely top notch. Now I understand why this place is highly recommended. Wish I had come here sooner but this will now be a regular place for us. Was a 25 minute drive. While not ridiculously long, it was certainly worth the trip. Service was incredible. Everything is made fresh and on premise.

Went in and everything seemed nice, but I was expecting there to be hard cider (or at least apple cider) there was 2 options and both plain that you can get anywhere else. The food menu was spread out on one page with little options. We chose not to eat there bc only one main entree and the salads would work with my allergies. You have to have a reservation to get it, but I didn’t feel it worth staying. I’m confused about the name when there was barely any cider or apple options
