Boyfriend and I went here yesterday for our birthday dinner, it was surprisingly not busy at all on a Friday evening. It was probably the best dinner we have ever had hands down. Every single thing we ordered was top notch and the interactive tablet menus are really cool! I also loved how they have a variety of mocktails. The service was great as well. They even gave us a small dessert and a handwritten card since it was both of our birthdays! That was such a nice touch. I think this will definitely be our celebratory restaurant from now on.

My husband and I went here just to enjoy some time together for the weekend and everything from the service, to the food was topnotch. We were greeted with smiles. I think our main server’s name was Jana. She was very sweet and offered good food suggestions. Our waters were refilled constantly. They brought our meals out in a timely manner. We both thought the taste of everything was great!

Let me start by saying that the GM is kind and personable and our waitress was awesome. The reason for the 3 stars is because the lobster bisque wasn’t the best. The GM did swap it out for the French onion soup that was great. I ordered the porterhouse steak medium and I was very particular about how I wanted my steak. Most of it came out well done and dry. Had I known the steak would have come out the way that it did, I would have ordered something else. For $130 steak, I would expect it to be at least juicy. The chef did provide some garlic butter which made it a little better, but was definitely disappointed in the steak. The steak tips and dessert were amazing!

Having dinner at the Chophouse is an experience that makes you feel like you’ve left Toledo and landed on the coast for fine dining. The food, service and atmosphere is all top-notch. Pricey, yes but well worth the investment as it’s as much an experience as it is just a meal. Always at the top of our list to return for a special occasion.

Simply amazing! This place was such a great place to celebrate our anniversary. We had an amazing time and the food was delicious! Hear me out…the service was like no other, Gera, our waitress treated us like royalty and she gifted us a hand written card for our anniversary, which made it feel extra special! The restaurant also has beautiful views.

AMAZING. this was our first time coming here and we were so impressed we are already planning on when our next visit will be! yes it is pricey but when you pay good money, you get fantastic food and that is exactly what we got. not only did we have great food, but amazing service from our waiter james as well. he gave us some great information about the food and was just an amazing server in general. everything we got was delicious, from the french onion soup to our main entrees. I have never had such a tender steak. thank you for making my birthday dinner so special and amazing!

The food was absolutely amazing! I don’t eat steak but I decided to try the fillet mignon and the only thing I can say was WOW! Expensive but worth every penny! Sides are a la carte but large enough to share with multiple people.

I have been to the Chop House in Grand Rapids several times, but this was my first time at the Toledo location. Food was on par with what you would expect. Tender and flavorful filet. Au gratin potatoes were fabulous. The lobster mac and cheese was very disappointing, though. Super dry as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. Besides that, everything was great.

So thrilled this place exists! I worked at Key when they used this space for storage and cubicles. This is a much better use! We ate the Beef Wellington and NY strip. Cocktails were an old fashioned and the sparkling pomegranate. The only thing I would have appreciated would be to see more unique drinks. Like the whiskey, scotch, and beer were all pretty common.

We had Micheal as a waiter and he was excellent! This was our first visit. We went to celebrate my birthday. They were very kind and gave me a card and dessert. We ordered the lamb lollipop and the steak bites for an appetizer and we all liked those. Let me tell you the pop over was my favorite thing I had there! For dinner I got the cowboy ribeye and I went with their recommendations for cooking and it was a bit unevenly cooked, but they made it right and quickly made me another one. Our only complaint, and sadly it makes a huge difference if we’ll return, the food was way too salty. The steak, augratin and potatoes were so salty we each only had a few bites. Salt is important, but once added it can’t be taken away. I would have rather had it under salted and I could have seasoned to taste. The atmosphere was very nice and Micheal made everything better, but for the price of the food, don’t go ruining it with so much salt.
