I decided not to get a steak and tried the chicken caprese instead! What a great decision!! I started with a 1/2 portion of Caesar salad that had sun dried tomato in it. It was so flavorful with the homemade bread they make! The Chicken caprese was full of vegetables (spinach, squashes, every color pepper, tomato and onion). One of the best meals I have ever had!!

This was our first time visiting. We went up for our wedding anniversary. The food tasted amazing. I had the loin with mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife had the shrimp special. I also indulged on an 8oz glass of cabernet. Being our anniversary, they gifted us a well plated, lava cake, with a card signed by the staff!

I’m not a steak or seafood person, but the people I was with loved their steaks. My husband got one of the add on sauces (“enhancements”) and it was not worth it. You’d think a peppercorn sauce would be pepper forward with a little kick to it, but instead it was sweet. Plus, a 2oz side sauce cup cost $8? That’s a bit much. My Alfredo was pretty good. The chicken on top was nicely cooked with a bit too much rosemary for my taste. The beef cheek crostini appetizer was delicious, though it wasn’t true crispy thin crostini (just bread that may have been lightly toasted). Not a great white wine selection for anyone that prefers dry wine. The vegetables that came with the caprese chicken were my favorite part of the meal. The carrot cake was very good. The service was excellent and a bit old school, which I kind of liked. There also happened to be a jazz like band playing music the night we went and the musicians were very talented. They played a tasteful selection of low-key, background type cover songs.

This place is always great. I have never had a meal I didn’t really enjoy. The service is good for what it is, that is to say you have a server, and she does everything. Many upscale restaurants have two or three people tending to your table for various reasons. Water , bread, entree , general wellbeing ect. Regardless you’ll enjoy your meal. It is on the higher side as far as the price point but I would imagine you would expect that when choosing to dine at a chop house. Enjoy.

If there was ever a “diamond in the rough” The Chop House on Main is it. I would hold a steak from here against a steak from any major city any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Absolutely tremendous. Modern atmosphere compliments the delicious food and welcoming staff. John’s strong arm, Carrie, was the bartender while I was there. Friendly and personable are the words I chose to describe her. The only strike I have against this place is the distance and it’s not their fault. Truly was worth the drive and will be again when I return to try their prime rib. Thank you for a tremendous time and food.

Excellent food & service!!! We had pork belly for an app and it was fantastic.. steaks were cooked to perfection, lobster was succulent and buttery. Smoked old fashions and martinis were tasty too. Jody took great care of us, will definitely visit again!

The Chop House was wonderful. Jesse was our server and he did a fabulous job! Very attentive and so delightful to chat with:) The foooood….The bread is soooo good – melt in your mouth!!! They give you 3 different butters to choose from – we liked the garlic butter. The surf & turf with our chosen sides – truffle fries and mushrooms was outstanding! The grilled salad was very good too! I would highly recommend the French onion soup as well – excellent. We shared a double chocolate slice of cake – rich & yummy.

Have been there twice in 2023 and have had a great experience both times. Excellent service and the food is the best you can find in town. Our waiter Jesse even brought out a complementary dessert when we mentioned we were there celebrating a new job.
