Chinese Neighbor is one of our favorite dining spots. We are regular, dine in and take out. My teens and I just love every food there, but mostly we stick with the featured dishes on the menu. So many favorites I can’t list all. Besides the traditional Chinese dishes, they also offer some popular Southeast Asian and American dishes. The plate portion is quite large, veggies and meats are fresh, quality is trustable, definitely worth the price you pay. The interior of the restaurant is clean, I like the pretty lighting fixtures and comfortable temperature. Lunch time during a hot summer weekday isn’t crazy busy, you can enjoy a relaxed break time.

I ordered delivery to the tune of 35 bucks for sesame beef, fried rice, and an egg roll. I got chicken instead of beef, no rice and an egg role that looked like it had been fried for 3 days before it got here. The amount of food was a joke! Any chinese restaurant in the area would have given easily double the amount of food and still not charged there ridiculous prices! Furthermore it tasted like it was over fried and days old! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The fact that this restaurant only has 3.9 stars is baffling to me! All I can say is you can taste the authenticity and freshness of the food with every bite! My family and I got the Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Dumpling Burger and Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Every item we ordered was beyond our expectation, and was absolutely delicious. The 30 minute drive from Little Elm is going to be worth it coming here for future meals!

The pad Thai is a bland and the Mongolian Beef is real tasty. When I was there, they ran out of steamed rice, which isn’t a big deal, and had the fried rice. The fried rice was good.

First timer here. Found this place while browsing for some Asian food. Not to far from where I lived. Looked very promising from the reviews.

It was so good I didn’t get a picture until after! We had kung pao and Sichuan chicken and hot and sour soup. Everything was delicious and the temperature was perfect. Prices were reasonable. Clean, vibrant atmosphere. Will definitely come again!

We ordered take out tonight and it was delicious! It is a counter service restaurant, but the quality is much higher than a place like Pei Wei. My kids got the chicken low-mein, my husband got the sweet and sour chicken, and I got the Hong Kong spicy rice noodles. The rice noodles were so good!! I don’t think I had ever had noodled rolled up like that, but they were pillowy and soft! Next time I will try some of the more modernized dishes!
