Sunday Fried Chicken after church! Woohoo! Chicken was crispy & tasty. Hubby had the 3 piece meal (breast, leg, thigh, mashed potatoes, country gravy, fries & a roll) and I had the 2 piece meal (thigh and wing, mashed potatoes, country gravy, corn on the cob & a roll). Both meals were good. Chicken was crispy and moist. The thighs in both meals were a little greasy than our taste but the other pieces were great. I would have preferred a little more seasoning in the breading. Corn on the cob was juicy, no additional butter was needed and I got the last one available, so obviously an item in demand.

We got tenders, sides, and ice tea. Quite good. You can see into the preparation area from the counter, all was clean.

Employees are nice but the food is just okay. The rolls were undercooked. Chicken wasn’t seasoned at all. Fries tasted frozen

Did not receive what we ordered( missing chicken strips , slaw, and other sides ). The food we did receive was good . Ordered ice cream cups at the window , no lids on for easy transport home . Drive thru window had an awkward approach . 4 stars simply for speedy and good food . Wouldn’t drive out of our way for it , just staying at the campground close by and passing it going for gas .

Stopped by to pick up dinner for the family. Sitting in the drive-thru behind another car for about 10 minutes when some old white dude leans out the window and yells at me, “There ain’t any chicken!!” Thinking I must have heard him wrong, I rolled down my window and he again yelled, “There ain’t any chicken!” When I pulled up to clarify with the fellow as to why there was no chicken, he asked me if I know the owner. When I said no, he then informed me I would just have to talk to the manager in the manager.

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. My family was served chicken with HUGE WEEVILS fried into the batter, and have had nothing but issues out of the owners/management since. A full refund has still not been issued, and it was brushed off like it wasn’t a big deal. Completely disgusted.

I stopped by today 11/16/22. Ordered what I thought was fresh fish, mac and cheese, fries, and a peach cobbler. I watched the guy in the back pull the fish out of a bag in the freezer and throw it in the cooker. The fish had a horrible taste and no flavor at all. The mac and cheese was absolutely horrible. The fries were cold and the rolls were terrible. The gravy was clumpy and nasty. After all of that I hoped that maybe the peach cobbler would save the day. Boy was that the opposite of what I hoped. Tasted like cardboard and had no flavor either. Even the fountain drinks had a weird flavor. Definitely disappointed and will not be back. The staff is friendly though

Used to look forward to stopping by every couple months or so. Food was very good. But the food purchased today left us disappointed. Prices went up, chicken tender portion went down, and it seems like they changed suppliers or recipes for their chicken and rolls. I realize businesses must adjust to survive the crazy inflation but the difference in quality was huge. Sadly, we don’t plan to return or continue recommending The Chicken Place to others.
