Enjoyed a nice brunch here on a rainy Sunday. The Bloody Mary was spicy and full of cucumber flavor, which made it a great summer cocktail. The swordfish BLT was good but was overly rich, covering the flavor of the well prepared fish. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful.

We came here for a couple of appetizers and drinks before a concert at FTC. We go the nachos and calamari. Service was great and perfect with timing. We were seated quickly. Although descriptions say this place has a patio, it’s just tables on a sidewalk. Bathroom was very clean as well as around us. The nachos were yummy but they can be quite difficult to eat as the toppings are heavily packed on. The calamari was a no for us. VERY salty to the point where it was unbearable. But overall, a good experience.

Great restaurant with a good twist on old traditions. For example, my Cobb salad had all the traditional ingredients but instead of chopped hard boiled egg, it came with a poached egg, which is delicious. In addition, instead of the blue cheese crumbles, I got a thick creamy blue cheese that is definitely higher quality…

Great restaurant, very well run. Very good service, excellent food, great atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor dining, in downtown Fairfield. Cozy rustic interior, soft lighting, reasonable buzz from the crowd. Dined here many times and it is consistently very good. Estimate $50/person for the full dining experience. One criticism – the most pathetic Old Fashioned cocktail I’ve ever had. Other cocktails (Blueberry Lemonade, Peach Sangria, etc) all excellent.

We went here last night for the wife’s birthday. Surprised it took us this long to find this gem! Appetizers and entrees were unique and superbly prepared. Lydia was a perfect host. really nice vie inside with a cool little bar and great drinks. Highly recommend – Nick D

Very pretty place, with nice staff, but it was so loud, due to music cranking and people shouting to hear themselves over the music, that you couldn’t even talk to the people you were having dinner with.

My first time at The Chelsea was very favorable. Excellent ambience. I was trying to find a restaurant closer to home that had great burgers like Dive Bar in West Haven since I live Bridgeport and I must say that The Chelsea Burger is top quality I had a Margherita with Espolon tequila and it was very smooth. I plan on going back and try items on their menu. If you want a great burger you have to try the Chelsea Burger..you’ll be glad you did. Highly recommended!

Came for a meal to celebrate a special event. Had a reservation for 6:00 and the place was empty, but people started arriving shortly after. By the time I left the restaurant was pretty full, so I’d suggest reservations anyway.

Great spot in Fairfield for dinner and drinks with outdoor seating. Our server was very friendly and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. The food was great (steak cooked correctly, excellent flavors) and the drinks were top notch – try one of their margaritas if you can! Overall a great spot and one I’ll be visiting again soon for sure.
