In Portland for a week for work, and I must say that they have the best crispy pork kra pow I have ever had, even when in Thailand. The flavors just burst out. I will be back daily while I am here.

I love Thai food and I know a lot of restaurants around town. Today was the first day at The Chef Thai Cuisine. The food was amazing!

Tried a dish new to me today because you can’t usually get it here. Ruan Thai Kung Pao (grilled river prawns) can get you a Michelin star in Thailand. They’re cleaned well, but headbutter left in so that might turn some off. Comes with a nam jim seafood dressing that was also different than I’ve had. I came to try this among the more obscure things they have to the metro area, but also got what they call pad ka na here with moo krob or crispy pork belly since I wanted some greenage with a great garlic flavor bomb and, of course, crispy pork belly. Will have to come back here and try more things for sure.

Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Ordered panang curry, fried spring rolls, and pot stickers, The presentation was amazing too! Its location in a strip mall is deceiving. I thought about rating atmosphere lower, but decided to keep it at a five for some of the cute quirkiness. We’ll be going back!

100% my favorite new Thai restaurant in Vancouver (writing this as I eat at the table!) You must begin with the crab puffs, they are made in-house, & just delectable. My husband & I shared the Tom Leng & Ka Pao Moo Krob, & were both overjoyed with all of the sweet, sour, & spicy .we will be back & spread the word!

Yellow curry was good but hotter then I was expecting, will order less spicy next time. Maybe a little to much potato but other then that, curry tasted good , server offered some fruits to cool it down for me, I thought that was very nice gesture.

Food was flavorful. The presentation was beautiful, they cut my carrots to look like flowers and cut the shrimp in an interesting way. Noodles were soft and chewy. I can’t remember what the soup we got was, some sort of rolled noodle soup on the chef’s favorite menu. That and the pad see ew I ordered were both flavorful and yummy.
