This place is fabulous! Some of the most creative and tasty dishes you’ll find in the Midwest. The mix of Nepalese and Himalayan cuisine is truly a unique treat, all inspired by Nepal native Chef Barkha, who is an inspired entrepreneur. You have to try it!

The food was made fresh and everything we had was quite delicious. Loved the environment and the waitress Cindy was so kind and attentive. A great gem hidden in the suburbs, highly recommend!

My husband and I went there for dinner on a busy Friday night. Though we got a table in about 10 minutes, the waiting area was pretty cramped and the waitresses were cramped for space and struggling to get the food out. Even we were uncomfortable standing next to the door and very close to another table. I wish they had a small waiting area..

Oh my………what a wonderful experience! My wife and i chose this place for two reasons. 1……it was our 30 year anniversary and I wanted to go somewhere unique. After speaking with the woman while making our reservation, she indicated that the food was made from family recipes and they were from the Himalayas. 2………Never had Himalayan food. Whereas the service was a little slow the expierence was very memorable for my wife and I. A must go to. (Thank you for the small gift you gave my wife! BONUS!)

Amazing service, great food. Jesse really made us feel welcome. A happy crowd included young families, sophisticated couples, and a few old jazz fans like us. I heard a small child ask his mom if there was anything there he could eat and he must have liked his choice because we heard no complaints from that quarter. The guitar, organ and conga group in the corner played standards with interesting rifs. The music brought us here and the well-seasoned ambiance will bring us back.

If you want to experience unique and flavorful dishes that make your taste buds sing, make a trip to the Cheel. Greeted at the door by a cheerful hostess, seated at comfortable table and chairs (high tops are available in bar area) and provided drink menus first. Waitress greeted us and took drink order shortly thereafter. Table mate is a bourbon drinker and there was a small but nice selection. Chose the Blanton’s and was satisfied. I enjoyed the Yeti summer cocktail. We had no experience with Himalayan/Nepalese cuisine. Waitress patiently went through the whole menu with us. Settled on the Nepali Thali which gave us a variety of dishes to try: : bandel roganjosh, kukhura tarkari, saffron basmati rice, choice of dal, seasonal vegetables, ghew, kenema, & classic aachar. always concerned about the heat of dishes since I do not tolerate any heat at all and the dishes come with a variety of sauces from mild to eat at your own risk. Not a problem as long as I did not add the sauces. Looking forward to returning and exploring more dishes.

This was a delightful find. From the second you walk into this restaurant there is a great fun sway (Feng shui). The bar area is open with plenty of capacity to sit waiting diners, and the wall to wall windows make the place feel very open.

Excellent food & service. Both the bartender & bar manager (Drew) were very friendly and attentive (we ate at the bar-very cozy). First time there-I plan on returning soon!

Amazing use of complex flavors. I had the lamb Momo (dumplings), deep fried chicken pea fingers (a lot like mozz sticks) with a beautiful creamy center. Could’ve eaten the dipping sauces by themselves. The cheesecake with saffron & orange infusion is in the top ten best desserts I’ve EVER had. The server was extremely knowledgeable, which I appreciated a lot.

I really liked this restaurant. It would probably have become my favorite place to hangout but alas it is four hundred some miles away from where I live.
