Hubby & I visited several months ago for breakfast. It was our first time. Won’t be going back, as the place is more of a Bar than a restaurant. There was no dedicated waitstaff…the poor bartender had to tend bar AND wait tables. It was abut 10am, (we were the only ‘diners’, and the jukebox was playing heavy metal rock waaaay to loudly. It made for a very unpleasant experience.

It was a great experience, 10/10 would recommend anyone coming though Longview to stop here and try the carriage experience. So let me tell you about mine. It starts with a warm welcome, then you’re almost suffocated by the aroma of a nursing home. When you sit down you wait for the one available waitress and order your drinks. In addition you wait 10 minutes for that one waitress to come take your order. Then you wait another 10 for the waitress to come take your order. And finally you wait another 50 minutes to get the wrong order of food. In conclusion, the carriage is a wondrous place to spend the fist 2 hours of your morning, being suffocated by the smell of a nursing home, and surrounded by great music and horrid tasting food.

SO DISAPPOINTED! Not only is it over priced garbage but it took way longer than it should for a salad.. will not be returning, and I do NOT recommend. If you are looking for a better salad just go to Wendy’s and save your self the headache.

Listen, I get that this is Longview, and my expectations aren’t through the roof or anything. First, the chef and water were really nice folks, so nothing personal but PLEASE tell me that you don’t honestly believe that a pancake, smothered in cream of mushroom soup, straight from the can, is a substitute for southern style biscuits and gravy? Because that’s what you served me. Guys, please do better, biscuits and gravy is such a hard thing to screw up, and you did it royally. Good bloody mary though…extremely strong drink, which I did appreciate.

Interesting five bar in Longview. The food was good, the atmosphere was lacking a bit with quite loud music for lunch. Playing WAP is an interesting choice. Would like to give it another try because the burgers were delicious.

I hate being a karen but this place sucks, despite everyone elses good reviews. Dingey as hell, the tables and chairs are uncomfortable and a weird choice for a restaurant or bar, and you can’t get any help or an order taken unless you’re a regular, so I can’t even comment on the food or drinks. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Ordered salads and a Sandwich. Took over an hour to get our order and when it arrived we got the wrong dressings, didn’t get bacon on our salads. Sandwich was the completely wrong sandwich. Super disappointed to say the least. Glad I spent over $50 for the food to get nothing correct
