Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant’s on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille’s wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 – 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. Beautiful, delicate, sophisticated and elegant restaurant! Definitely a good place to celebrate a birthday, engagement or anniversary! My son made the reservation, they took great care of us! The waitress was very attentive, very special! My birthday was the best, they made me a personalized card and placed it on the table! From the moment we entered, the hosts wished me a very happy birthday! The dessert was courtesy of the house, everything was very delicious. But if what you’re really looking for is an excellent business dinner, believe me, this is the place! And with an excellent variety of wines and salads!

Lobster bisque is wonderful! The ambiance here was also very nice. No cocktail menu, but they were happy to make anything you requested. Basic drinks are fine, but it’s always nice to see restaurants put their own flare into traditional drinks.

My Fashion Stash
We just had the most amazing dinner in their wine room space! It was unbelievable and the best meal my parents have had in a long time. Their exacts words were “we may not have had food like this before but we do know how to taste”! The seafood was fresh and the the steak was prepared to perfection. They have the best lobster Mac n Cheese and roasted Brussel sprouts! And the do not get me started on the desserts.The coconut creme pie is to die for! The staff is absolutely amazing! Our server was wonderful and the Manager, Kathy, was so thoughtful and accommodating. She made our dinner here and my parents visit a memorable one. Will definitely need to come back again for seconds.

The best place in Salt Lake, hands down. Excellent seafood, excellent service. Literally the best lobster tail I’ve ever had in my life. Just one taste makes my brain light up like a pinball machine. The servers take really good care of you. The drinks are amazing as well. They really deserve all the awards. Should be a 3 star Michelin.

Absolutely amazing meal, and flawless customer service! The ribeye with balsamic on the chefs choice was great, same with the Steak with shrimp tails. The drinks were all super delicious. The Lobster bisque is a must have, as well as the Lobster mac & cheese. You will not be disappointed here. They were also very Decorative for our occasion here. We will be here again!

Came here with my husband for our anniversary dinner, it was better than we expected!! Our table had a card wishing us a happy anniversary, and had cute confetti on the table. They truly care about the customers experience!! Our server Jacob was outstanding, he made us feel so welcomed. We’ll definitely come here more often, the food and drinks were delicious. If you want to pay top dollar for good food and nice cocktails, this is your place. In fairness, everything I ate and drank was delicious. But it feels like those places that are expensive for the sake of being expensive but not necessarily special.
