7/23 – Revisiting this eatery since spring ’22 for their karaoke night, we were surprised by changes in food and menu items. Originally billed in local press as a fusion restaurant, as the owner and Chef is Asian and grew up in New Orleans, the one-sided dinner menu consisted of 2 choices: boiled in the bag shellfish with flavor options, & fried baskets including gator.

We had fajitas and the clam Cajun boil, both fantastic! This is our second time eating here, and it is consistently excellent! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Dominique, an exceptional server! Prices are good and they have specials, special activities, a stage, and a full schedule of bands and shows.

Cajun boil is a newer restaurant that opened recently, I finally got a chance to check it out.

The food tasted great, I got the bison burger and clam chowder. However when I bit into the burger, inside was a sandwich pick. Not sticking through the top, but INSIDE the burger. I didn’t see it until I pulled it out with my teeth. Called and eventually talked to the manager who did little to nothing except explain they put picks in all their burgers and sandwiches and to mention it to them the next time I come in. Well this was the last time I’m coming here, if I could give less than one star I would.

I was optimistic getting their hole belly clams at market price. The staff were super friendly and enthusiastic about their new restaurant.. Unfortunately, it was the worst hole belly clam plater I’ve ever had. Maybe two or three clams were hole and the rest were little pieces. Over cooked and a greasy after taste, with the portion size of a kids meal. And I wouldn’t of posted this if the manager offered to accommodate me with a discount or at least something! The market price for hole belly clams was a whopping $37.57 , and I gave 15% because of their good attitude. But spending 45 dollars for a platter that wasn’t worth $12 , was horribly disappointing. The girl appreciated my call to complain about it. But she should have offered something to me, because now I won’t go back. And I’m writing this to boot! If she offered something to accommodate my bad experience, I would be going back to try again. And I wouldn’t of wrote this. . I don’t think they will make it there. Unless they fix the food and reach a certain clientele that will spend high prices for fried food. Good luck!

My family and I went to Cajun Boil. I was so surprised with our waitress. She was the most sweetest, honest, pleasant waitress I’ve ever seen, her name is Dominique, I like to give her a shoutout and thank her. My husband left he’s bank card in the restaurant and she ran out to give it to us. I was impressed with the food too it was really good.

The Cajun Boil is absolutely delicious! I finally gave them a try & can’t wait to go back. The staff are incredibly kind & the Medium heat boil was perfect. The clam chowder was also delicious (although not pictured). Super clean and brand new restaurant in town. Support local!

The flavors are exactly like the southern deliciousness of Louisiana cajun style seafood. We especially enjoyed the snow crab legs. Perfect for small and larger group parties. Staff is very welcoming, food and drinks are on point and place is nicely decorated. Lots of beer and wine choices. We loved it.

We had the Quees Cajun Broil and it was SO GOOD!!!! My husband and I went out and wanted to try something different. We passed this place and just had to turn around and try it out! Don’t get overwhelmed with all the choices, because there is something for everyone. BUT TRY THE BROIL!!!

I ordered from The Cajun Boil, hoping for the best. I ordered the $30 lobster roll as a treat. While there were chunks of meat, the portion was shockingly small. As in, the hot dog roll would have been too small to fit an Oscar Meyer hot dog. I could not believe how small it was, and how few frees came with it (a small fast food size). The meat was dry, but I assume that was from the wait with take-out. The claim strips tasted oddly like generic Chinese pu-pu platter fried food.
