While traveling on the highway, we prefer stopping at local restaurants rather than eating fast food or at chains. The Cabin was exactly what we wanted: quick, decent food, served with a smile.

Service was decent, came here for the eclipse and they were a little show to bus the tables but were all very friendly. Food was 4/5, BBQ pork was slightly dry but not bad. Fries were fresh and crispy. Fair pricing and homey decor. Overall good experience and the eclipse was really great.

I LOVED this restaurant. We had 18 people come in and this is a pretty small restaurant. The staff quickly arranged the tables to accommodate us. It was maybe 15 minutes before our food was out. That is literally the best barbecue I have ever had. Also, I highly recommend the chicken fingers to anyone that is reading this.

Catfish is incredible. Very large portion’s. And on Monday’s I believe it is all you can eat. My wife had the Country Fried Steak and she said that it was delicious as well. The service was great and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone. I did read a few bad reviews but hey…. Some people you just can’t please..

Great food and service! Our hostess made sure that we had everything we needed. The food comes in big helpings. I got the steak and mushroom omelet and it took up half the plate! The biscuit that came with my order was really big and tasted wonderful. Great southern home cooking!

The coke was good and the waitress was nice but that is the only good thing I can say about it. I had the brisket after picking out the fat ( which was about 75%) of it the meat that was left was cold, tough and tasteless my wife ordered the chicken baked potato, to chicken was all dark meat, the cheese looked like plastic laying on top and it looked like it had been under the heat lamp for a couple of hours maybe we took a couple of bites and left maybe the $35 we paid for something we could not eat the cook will take it and help pay for cooking lessons worst restaurant we have ever been to. Stay Away

Maybe we ordered the wrong food. Read the reviews and decided to stop. We ordered hot beef sandwiches with gravy and mushrooms. The beef was really tasty and tender .Real mashed potatoes with skins were good. I loved the cornbread. But they should use real butter and make their own gravy…. prices were very reasonable and restaurant all knotty pine inside with see thru fireplace.

This unassuming little eatery serves up all the southern comfort food favorites you crave! Ignore the hours posted by the door. If the sign is lit, they’re open. Just off the freeway, it was exactly the peaceful stop I needed to keep me going on my road trip. Service was friendly and helpful. I ordered the fried pickle spears, one of those sounds-weird-but-tastes-great treats that can be hard to find. They had a thick, crunchy cornmeal breading that hit the spot, served with house made ranch for dipping. The building was clean and homey all around. Accessibility is great with a long outdoor ramp, a single level floor all the way through, and roomy bathroom stalls with a changing table for kids.

good food. really friendly, accommodating service. after many hours on the road, the kids needed a break, the baby was crying and this place was just what we needed. there was nothing else near the highway but fast food for miles. my husband got the ribs (excellent), kids had grilled cheese and mac’n’cheese both yummy. I had just a baked potato and it hit the spot. there were so many delicious options. the prices were good. (for those traveling a long distance, the bathrooms are clean and there was a changing table in the ladies room) I would definitely recommend for the weary traveling family!

My husband, my best friend, and I had lunch today at the Cabin Restaurant. The restaurant is immaculate and beautiful inside and also has nice, clean restrooms. We received friendly, prompt service. The food was delicious: The Smokehouse Burger, Texas Toast B.L.T., French Fries and Hearty Vegetable Beef Soup. We plan to go back and will recommend it to our family and friends.
