Delicious! Tried the Cabbage Cakes appetizer, loved it! I had the crab crusted sirloin, cooked perfectly. My wife had a burger which was also cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The service was excellent as well. Give this unassuming looking place a try, you’ll not regret it.

Omg!! So good. Everything was outstanding. Calamari! The dipping sauce was perfect! The sushi was great. The volcano roll was our favorite! We had fried cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert and both were amazing. We were super impressed and with half off sushi on Thursdays, were considering this our go to spot for dinner on Thursdays!!!! 100% satisfied! Yum!!! The guys at the table next to ours saw our delish desserts and ordered the exact same things!

What a nice place to eat upscale food. The restaurant has been around since the 1800’s! The current owner and chef does Sushi roles really really well. All I have to say is Volcano Roll baby! Half price sushi on Thursdays. We will be back this Thursday! The deserts are amazing. No joke. I got the Chocolate cake which was really good and my wife got the caramel sponge cake also really good.

My friend ordered a medium well burger today it came out pink bloody then they made another one and it came out well done and it was burnt. Then I had a roasted chicken it was dry over cooked. And the Brussel sprouts was not fully cooked and bacon on top of Brussels sprouts was cold. The only thing that was good was my French fries. The kids didn’t even like the food. The pink lemonade tastes like mop water and it wasn’t pink at all. Our server didn’t smile at all and didn’t even greet us. She didn’t come to check on us. She greeted the table next to us and the only reason we know her name is because when she greeted them she said her name was Paula. This is a horrible place so don’t waste your money. I’ll post a picture of my niece. She didn’t even touch her food and it’s been sitting in front of her for like 15 minutes

HOME. Aesthetically
It was bad. I mean really bad. I had the pork cutlets w saffron risotto and cabbage. The pork was flavorless, they didn’t even try to flavor it. The risotto had an aftertaste and was undercooked. The cabbage was the only good thing. It was so bad I didn’t even waste my time taking my to go box. I just left it there. If you must go just get a burger, they tend to be consistent w those. It was my anniversary and that almost ruined it. I had to brush my teeth twice to get the aftertaste out of my mouth. You guys have to do better. If you charge the price of $26 then cook the meals right. On top of that there was a small hair in my food. Like come on. There was barely anyone there, there is no reason to mess up so bad. I won’t be back. In response to the owner I never said I enjoyed it. I told my waitress that my meat was flavorless which is why she brought gravy so no I did not give the illusion that I liked it. I was honest. No hard feelings.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the music was fitting, the food was amazing! Went on a date night with my husband and the mood lighting was pretty sweet! Definitely a different place. 100% recommend and will be coming more often. Best sushi in this area hands down

My guest and I made our first post-COVID visit last Thursday, so as to enjoy the half price sushi . . . brace yourself, should you visit The Cabin anytime soon, especially on Thursdays!! With the exception of the female bartender, the former front-of-the-house staff has been banished (several of whom have been there for years!). We were served our beverages promptly, placed an order of calamari for our appetizer, along with a bevy of sushi options. Upon receiving the calamari, it was a much smaller portion than previously served, the pieces were quite small and the coating was nearly non-existent . . . AND . . . we were informed they were out of the marinara sauce!! (We were told the back-of-the-house has had changes in staffing, too.) My cocktail was superb, so I was pleased that hadn’t changed. While we didn’t employ the use of a stop watch, we waited for nearly an hour, noticed another couple got up and left in disgust and could see take-out orders leaving at a steady pace. There were only a smattering of guests at the bar, so it wasn’t slammed for dine-in patronage. My partner and I were quite hungry, so he demanded we just get up and leave. Our server noticed my partner walked out and told me our order was nearly ready, so I told her to box it for me to take it home. Once payment was made, I collected my sushi and departed. We arrived home, not only to find we didn’t receive our entire order; it wasn’t what we had ordered. It’s highly unlikely we will ever return, and we were regular patrons.

We went to the cabin restaurant after many years of absence. We heard on a local radio station that they would be having clam bakes in the month of December. The weather was beautiful and we are outside. The patio was quite , private and beautiful. I ordered the lobster clam bake and my husband ordered the chicken clam bake. Our food was hot, well seasoned and delicious. The meal cake with fresh clam Chowder, clam broth that was fantastic . The lobster and the chicken was wonderful. Our entire meal was so great we asked to talk to the manager or owner to tell them great the meal was and we don’t normally do that ! We will absolutely be back and support this wonderful local restaurant.
