I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Brown Jug in Chelsea, and let me tell you, it was a pretty good time! This place knows how to serve up some fantastic pizza that’ll have you coming back for more. What really stood out to me was that the pizza wasn’t too greasy like most other pizza joints. It was just right, making it easy to indulge without feeling like you needed to take a nap afterwards.

Worst pizza of my life! I ordered their classic brown jug pizza on Uber eats. Upon arriving the host was not welcoming and seemed uninterested about satisfying my pickup order. My instructions to do a half and half pizza was not followed and in addition I had to wait additional time (10+) for a pickup order that was not ready. The pizza is bland, tasteless and burnt. I highly recommend you avoid this place and go to more professional establishments.

Laying in bed with my wife and we can’t stop discussing how amazing our service was the last 2 Sunday days we’ve been there” the blonde bartender is always on her A game” has great menu knowledge and sports a smile through the busiest shifts!!! Put her on more shifts and we will be there more often for sure!! Love the pizza Thursday day pizza guy is by far the best and quality prices and food!!!!

So I came here and thought it would be a good place to get a good pizza because my coworker recommended it, but as soon as I walked in the waiters were just talking and completely ignoring us, we had to walk up and ask for service in a way… we were sat down by a nice gentleman, & then a waitress came and asked us for our drinks, we sat for over 15 minutes as we watched her help other tables RIGHT IN FRONT OF US, we asked another waitress for the check for the drinks the first waitress gave us(late as well) we told her why and she just disregarded it and asked us for our order… I don’t want to bring race into this but this establishment is racist… there was no other person of color, my family and I were the only ones, what I can say it has great food and pizza, unfortunately I will never come here again, I’ve never felt so out of place in my life.. (yeah that’s the silverwear they gave me I obviously did not use those plates or the silverware)

I placed an on line order at around 11 am. I was told delivery would be between 510pm and 530pm had to call twice starting at 610pm and would only get run around that they were now starting to prepare my order. I finally got it around 645pm by delivery. No sorry or anything from brown jug that my people had to wait on this larger order that was made ahead of time

Their wings are bomb. Cheese pizza is good. Service is honestly hit or miss. They could have one table and you can get bad service or a full place and get decent service. It makes no difference. It’s always hit or miss. Delivery or take out is as well. There’s been a couple times where they “forgot to make it” or something else. However, this is a Chelsea staple and favorited by locals. The employees are warm and welcoming. Prices are fair and the bar is awesome.
