We had a great night at The Brookdale. We arrived early before our reservation and were seated right away. The atmosphere of the restaurants was similar to a restaurant lounge. The lighting was dark. They had popular music playing which we liked but it also wasn’t overpowering. There was a fairly large bar in a separate room from the dining area with high top tables.

Decided to stop by here after playing tennis at Brookdale Park and we were pleasantly surprised. Their outdoor patio area has a lovely vibe, though its next to a busy street so can get noisy. The food was incredible! The roasted asparagus was delicious, I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was hands down the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Like, I imagine that chicken must have roamed free all its life and had a gourmet diet, that’s how good it was. For cocktails, I tried their Frosé amd was not disappointed. The perfect drink for a hot summer day. I highly recommend this place!

Having checked out the menu for The Brookdale online prior to going I still had no idea exactly what I wanted to try out. It’s a nice size menu and everything looks so good! Luckily we got a bit of help from the owners with our selections so we just sat back and enjoyed.

I flew in from the West Coast primarily for the 1 lb mozzarella stick. We split it between the four of us and that was still too much…it was delicious. For appetizers we shared the shishito peppers, the sweet potatoes and the house made pork rinds. All delicious with perhaps the pork rinds being slightly oversalted. The wings rocked, the pastrami quesadilla awesome, burger was cooked medium when ordered rare and the chicken parm (my favorite dish on Earth) was a huge disappointment. It tasted dry, tough and flat out old. The portion could have fed 4 to 6. Overall it was good. Maybe an off day for the chicken parm.

Had a great dinner here with my wife. Possibly the most creative and widest variety of appetizers I’ve ever seen. We’ll be coming back just to try ALL the appetizers. This time we had the crab dip and it was delish. My wife had the NY strip and she enjoyed. I had the Branzino and it was incredible. Never expected such a great dish. Desserts were also very good. As I mentioned earlier, we can’t wait to go back and sample more of the menu.
