We were greeted warmly and sat down. We ordered an appetizer and drinks. We finally decided on the tortellini chicken Alfredo for all 3 of us and placed our order. The food arrived to our table… and it was chicken broccoli Alfredo. We expressed that this was not our order. The lady took it back to the kitchen. The hostess/server came out and said you were out of Alfredo sauce, so we had to take her messed up order. I told her we ordered the tortellini. The server tells us that you were out of alfredo sauce, so it couldn’t possibly be made as we ordered. I can’t eat broccoli right now, due to health reasons. I explained this to the server. She told me, no joke, that I could pick out the broccoli. This was unacceptable. When you cook broccoli into something, it takes on the flavor, smell, and essence of the broccoli. There is NO picking out the flavor, smell, or essence. She said she’d take off $2 per plate for the inconvenience. Rather than cause a scene, after being told I could pick it out, we accepted our fate. If you’re out of ingredients to make more sauce, we’re stuck, right? My party ate the Alfredo. I tried. I gagged and almost threw up several times, due to my medication and health issues, and the smell and taste of broccoli. After only a quarter of my serving, I had to stop. I had had a banana pie set aside for us. When the pie arrived, I found it odd that a piece of the crust was missing, but shrugged it off. When I pulled a piece of the crust off, the underside had a gray/ green hue. I plucked several pieces of the crust off, but each piece had that unknown substance on the crust. 10 minutes later, the server came back. I pointed it out, and she asked, “What is that?” I told her I don’t know, but I’m not eating or paying for this pie. She offered me something else, and I chose more spinach dip, add that’s the ONLY thing that was right with our order and tastes good. As we’re getting ready to pay, another party received their dinner. Guess what it was? Chicken broccoli Alfredo. We were told your establishment was out of Alfredo sauce and ingredients to make it, ergo why we had to take the messed up order in the first place. I had asked what the server would have had to tell other customers if they came in and ordered Alfredo. She had said, “We’ll have to tell them we’re out.” But these new customers had ordered and received Alfredo. She’d lied straight to our faces. Did she think we wouldn’t notice? I’m not upset about the messed up order. What if I’d been deathly allergic to broccoli? Would she still have forced it? That’s dangerous.

I write this review in frustration due to how disrespectful one person on the staff has been to me on more than one occasion. A person that I don’t know. I have only ever come in to pick up doordash orders and almost every time, I have received passiveness and snide remarks. I am sure they serve great food but I might not ever know seeing as I don’t want to support a business that has never given me a positive experience. I give 3 stars for attitude and to give them the benefit of the doubt in trusting that their food is good.

The Brick Wall Bistro did the reception for my son’s wedding and I would give them a 10! They did an amazing job! The food was wonderful – the atmosphere bright, cheerful & very clean. Everything they serve is delicious. However, my favorite is strawberry pecan salad. They were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them for any event.

Super nice looking establishment with wonderful food and people!! I absolutely love the Jalapeño chicken salad and the Mac and cheese. Haven’t had anything that I haven’t enjoyed. Also, the white wedding cake and the chocolate cake are both to die for! Plus they’re always super sweet to First Responders, it means a lot. This place has become one of my favorites!

My husband and I ate at the Brickwall Bistro this last week. The location was easy to get to, with ample parking. We were impressed with the decor, especially the ornate, high tin ceiling. We both had soup and sandwiches. The food was fresh, served hot, and was as tasty as it looked The desserts to choose from were impressive, including hand-dipped ice cream. My husband and I split a piece of chocolate cake, and a piece of cheesecake. Both were delicious, but the cheesecake was my favorite We are definitely planning a return trip the next time we head that way, looking forward to trying the Reuben sandwich next!

This is a very clean and inviting restaurant. The food is fabulous, fresh and priced nicely. And if you like dessert, they have you covered. Delicious. It is a must try if your around Nevada during the day.

I had heard from a friend that this new bistro was good. When trying to find what to order, everything sounded good, but it seemed a bit expensive. I called and made my pick up order. Everyone was friendly went I went to pick up my order and the decor inside was blindingly white. I paid and came back home to enjoy a nice lunch with my husband. We were not impressed. Our favorite part was the Reuben, but that’s not saying much. Most everything tasted store bought, and when paying what I did, I expected fresh, house made items. If you’re looking for “meh store bought food in a shabby chic atmosphere”, then this is your place. But it’s not for us
