We had the Chicken Sammy, Chicken and Waffles, and the Chicken Plate not pictured due to it being inhaled before we could document it. Absolutely fantastic everything was flavorful, fresh, and delicious. 10/10. Can’t recommend them enough. Great food and great service.

Fried chicken here is great! As a regular, don’t buy in to the the complaining reviews. Long waits are because of the popularity, not the service. The staff is super nice & they always hook up a good deal for us. Get the maple butter with the biscuit!

I visited the food truck at penn cove brewery on Whidbey Island. As a midwesterner – it’s been incredibly difficult to find a pure fried chicken experience in the PNW – and this was it. The chicken was battered but not too much, so crispy, so juicy, just the right amount of spice. Not to mention – the mac and cheese put it over the top for me. We ate here twice in one weekend because it was good. It’s a can’t miss kinda situation, folks! Try it. You won’t regret it.

Ordered the cbr and the spicy with potato salad and chawdah…the chowder was luke warm no substance to it. No thickness, no potatoes, clams. The cbr was mainly red onions with some chicken..The spicy was cold. Waited an hr for our food for it to be cold. Potato salad also inedible. No flavor. Never again. They need a real food truck. This is a joke

Chicken was okay, but what they serve as “biscuits” were embarrassing. I was expecting buttery, flaky, warm. They served a square of bread out of a sheet pan that was then sliced and grilled, and had zero flavor.

We tried the new Penn Cove Brewery food truck run by The Braeburn. I had the fried chicken wrap with apple bacon potato salad. The fried chicken had the perfect crunch on the outside with tender, juicy chicken inside. The apple bacon potato salad was delicious! We will most definitely go back again and again! Better chicken than the Payless Deli and a new favorite over Bubbas (now that they’re under new management).
