Great all-you-can-eat restaurant with OC prices which was around $45 a pop. You pay extra for drinks or a pound of crab clusters, and after you eat. They did have plenty of seating, servers and a large variety of foods and desserts to choose from.

I come here every year for vacation, and each year, it gets more and more disappointing. There are a select few dishes there that are good (the mash potatoes, seafood salad, and burgers). Everything else is hit or miss. The mango margarita I ordered tasted like ice water and alcohol. I would’ve ordered a shot instead had I known what I was getting. The crabs I ordered were good, but the seasoning is extremely salty, and the butter is cheap. I ate my crabs unseasoned due to this, so to me, it’s not worth the price. The seating arrangement here is like a can of sardines. The guests were playing bumper chairs because the tables were packed together , which makes it extremely difficult to get up and sit down in your seat without disturbing the guests behind you. The servers, however, are great and attentive, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

I recently dined at The Bonfire Restaurant in Maryland’s Ocean City, drawn in by the allure of a seafood buffet. While the restaurant’s reputation preceded it, I was disappointed by the offerings. Despite the higher price tag, I was willing to overlook the cost if the seafood quality was exceptional. Unfortunately, The Bonfire fell short on this front. The absence of crab legs and other staples like whole crab, scallops, clams, lobster, and calamari left much to be desired.

First time here and food was pretty good. They have the usual buffet items but also seafood and prime rib and bbq ribs. Service was great and staff very friendly. Nice atmosphere and clean. Will return

Keeping in mind that this is a buffet, where food quality is often not so great, the buffet here was a pleasant surprise. The food seemed mostly of good quality. The prime rib was very tasty. The fresh made donuts were delicious. The soups, 4 of them, were well made, and the oysters (fried) were hot and tasty. The fried shrimp was a little disappointing as it had more breading than shrimp, but if you pulled off half the breading, they were great. The steamed shrimp were perfectly cooked and done in many batches… so what you get hasn’t been sitting there for a long time on the stream table. Desserts were plentiful, and the soft ice cream was a good quality, and the machine kept up with the demand serving nice, firm, soft serve. There were also fresh strawberries and other fruit. The servers did their jobs well. The restaurant is very kid friendly and will satisfy the land lover as well as the seafood lover. I would go here again.

This used to be a 5 star restaurant, this was my favorite place to go in OC MD, the fresh crab, the sliders, the food selection.

First time here and honestly as someone who does not care for buffets it was not bad. If you have a large group and need a quick place to fill everyone up then it does the job. I think the pricing per person is a little bit much, but that’s expected with most businesses today. Our servers was very nice and attentive(I believe her name was Josie). The meat station was good and sides were decent. Would definitely like to see more seafood options and higher quality of sides.

Very expensive $45 per person, which includes cold Shrimps and cold mussels for seafood, all other food is just chicken and salads, not a lot of varieties of food. Very poor sweet table. The plates looked like they came out of a bum barrel and weren’t very clean at all and if you want to get the crab legs that’s an additional 15 bucks! All food is cold and an overall extremely terrible experience that I wouldn’t suggest to anybody. There were flies ALL OVER the open containers of food and nobody seemed to bat an eye, and when asked about anything, the staff was very unknowledgable and nobody talked about any prices! This place is a scam center if anything and they prey on hard working everyday Americans! Stay Away!

This place is known for it’s all you can eat crab legs on their buffet. We were told once we were seated that crab legs were no longer on the buffet, and that they had to be purchased separately for $15 for a half pound. They said it would be cheaper for the buffet, but it was still $150 for 3 people with no extra crab legs. Prime rib and brisket were so fatty and at room temperature. Most of the food was NOT HOT. Steamed shrimp was not cleaned and overcooked. Fried shrimp was lukewarm and over battered. Cheese sticks and other fried foods were not hot. The ice cream on the dessert bar came out of the machine looking like chocolate ice and not something with dairy in it.

Food was ok.. we had a party of 6 and everyone was generally satisfied…. the service however was terrible! The hostess looked irritated that she had to seat us… and our waitress was terrible and rude which was disappointing because it is a buffet where we serve ourselves! First time here on vacation… won’t ever come back and honestly wouldn’t recommend wasting your time or money if you’re on vacation. So many other restaurants in the area that are so much better for the same price! Just my opinion!
