After a long day of moving, these ice cold beers were refreshing as can be. We got there when happy hour hit too, so it felt like a nice reward for our hard work from the universe. They had a musician playing for tips who was super nice and played wonderfully. I feel really bad for taking photos of food and drinks already slightly taken from when the presentations were so beautiful, but we were starving and thirsty and at least you know we loved the food and drinks. We just dug right in! The drinks were crisp, the food was delicious and seasoned perfectly, service was great. I guess the only down side if I could be picky was the lobster tasted slightly over cooked, but it could have been from the steam of the other food it was sitting on. Either way, it’s 5 stars for me. My wife and I wanted raw oysters, they were great. When I say 5 on atmosphere I am a retired country boy from NC so it was exactly what I was looking for. Service was top notch. We live in Springtown and no one can serve mixed drinks here. We have to drive to Weatherford or Lake Worth, went to boomer Jack’s a few weeks ago and Service was horrible.

The fries were absolutely amazing, they also made sure I didn’t get over-hydrated by keeping our waters empty, and no sauce served with the gator appetizer. When my wife’s food came out they asked if they can get anything else, umm my food lol. I really wanted to still, with all of that, give them a five star, I mean the fries are fantastic, but during checkout our waitress said they don’t do change, and rounded up!!! I always give around 40% tip, but when you round up, that is theft to me. So I decided to give a very honest review, even though I hardly ever give less than five stars. The gumbo had one piece of soggy shrimp, and my wife’s fried shrimp tasted like fried water, but the fries, you have got to try their fries! Oh and the food comes out on paper boats, and ketchup is in packets, but the prices are glassware prices, but the fries, ohh my

The staff was very friendly and fun. Great atmosphere with good live music. Sadly, the crab and shrimp boil was overcooked and vey salty. Flavors were not that of an authentic seafood boil. The shrimp was difficult to peel. Ten dollars for four small boudan balls seemed a bit excessive. Disappointing for the price we paid.

Friend of mine asked if I wanted to come out on a speakeasy stroll. This location was one of two that she had never had an opportunity to visit in the past. She wanted to come here first and I’m glad she did. This place was quaint and the atmosphere was perfect. Definitely will want to go back.

Food was good but the waitress was surly. I tried to make myself think it was just her personality and maybe she was naturally gruff but it wasn’t a pleasant experience. No one greeted us when we went in and there is no real direction about seating so we had to ask whether we should find our own table. They weren’t extremely busy but we were never offered tea or water refills until the check came. We are very unlikely to ever go back to this place.

I ordered the biggest gumbo I could order and got it and it was smaller than a little dinner bowl I use at home! It had TWO shrimp tales just their tales ,the part tou dont eat with no meat and there was no sign of any other kind of meat! It did have a fantastic taste but I believe it was $13.99 for a large bowl and I got maybe 1.75 measuring cup of food ! The staff is something else of lack to be desired! When I first walked in the waitress behind the bar was very snobby and rude even threw out the whole time while I waited for my food ! There were like 4 guys , they all come out of the kitchen area and never even spoke to me as I was well within 6 feet from the whole staff! All they could talk about was can we go home and one guy was cashing out! From my personal opinion, I thought by the looks of inside the restaurant when I first walked in I was like I’m gonna like this place! Well needless to say that changed in a very quick moment of conversation and rudeness!
