Decided to stay close to the hotel and walked across the street to The Boiler Room. Arrived just as the place was filling up (there was a concert nearby) so there was a crowd and a little wait to be seated. The menu was a little scaled back from the usual menu listed on line due to the concert but still plenty to choose from. The wine list is great, mixed drinks were top notch. The seafood gumbo was excellent and made me wish I had gotten a bowl. The prime rib sliders were absolutely delicious and made a good sized meal. The price was under priced in my opinion for size and how good they were!

Great experience here! Lori was our waitress and was absolutely wonderful. She had great recommendations on drinks and food and engaged my wife and I in conversation that made the experience that much more enjoyable.

My friend and I came here for drinks and enjoyed the ambiance of the art deco decor and very friendly service. I probably would have rated it higher if we spent more time here and ordered some food. But it was perfect for our short visit ending our art deco walking tour of Downtown Tulsa.

Our servers were very nice and very informative about the area. Looking at the website for the Mayo Hotel, this restaurant seems much nicer than it ended up being. For appetizers we ordered the fish tacos and the fried green beans. The fish tacos were a little weird, served in large yellow crunchy corn tacos that you might buy from the grocery store. The green beans were good, served with chipotle ranch. I ordered the pasta and my boyfriend ordered the beef Wellington. I liked the pasta it was average but enjoyable. Boyfriend was not asked how he wanted his beef cooked, but I tried his and thought it was good. We ordered a $60 bottle of white wine and it was simply brought to us and placed on the table, unopened, no taste was poured and no ice bucket was given. Maybe I expected too much but from the website this restaurant seemed very fancy! Our great waitress saved the rating for the place, and the food wasn’t horrible just not extraordinary as might be expected by the online description, the prices, and the connection to the great historic Mayo Hotel.

Just terrible. No stars. Ordered bar food to save time. Bartender barely there. Cardboard pizza burnt. Fried green beans in dirty grease. Worst food I’ve had in a while. Abysmal service, there an hour and a half. Would avoid this place if at all possible.

I paid for a $5 bud light, was handed the receipt to sign without a pen, and not given the beer. Then the bartender disappeared. Being on a very tight schedule, these were both very problematic. The ambience is fantastic. Mood lighting, and industrial chic decor make for a comfortable, upscale pub feeling. I found the beer selection to be lackluster, but they seem to have a sprawl of many wines and liquors. Food was pretty good, worth the money. The service is was got me, though, and is the reason for the 2 stars. I waited more than 15 minutes for someone to ask if I needed a refill (most definitely), and the entire experience was like that.. waiting long stretches for someone to get to me. I finally got up and got my own salt and pepper and napkins. ♀️

Yummy breakfast and welcoming waitstaff! I was actually staying at a nearby hotel and popped over to The Boiler Room in the historic Mayo Hotel for breakfast. I got their original breakfast plate. It was a steal at just $9! Cori and Jennifer, the waitresses, were very attentive and super friendly too!
