I recently dined at The Boiler Room in Omaha, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The halibut was a highlight – cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. However, the ratatouille left something to be desired, lacking the same wow factor.

Omaha recently started to grow up on me, and Old Town Market is mostly responsible for it. Any given day or evening, it’s such a pleasure to walk around and enjoy the architecture, wall art, and some of the storefronts. If you plan on going to Old Market for food either for The Boiler Room or for another restaurant, I suggest parking a little further than your destination and taking a walk. You will not be disappointed.

We had a beautiful first anniversary here – the service is fantastic and the food is such a unique and delicious combination of flavors no matter what you order. The upper dining area was 3/4 full even at 8:30pm during our reservation, and the servers worked together to ensure everyone was cared for and each table’s special occasion was known to all throughout the evening. The pork belly curry appetizer was our favorite; such a unique dish with Indian flavors, and the lamb and the salmon entrees were delicious. They brought us a complimentary glass of champagne to start which was a nice touch, too. We will be back for future special occasions!

Service was top notch, atmosphere was excellent, and the detail level and quality of the food was impeccable. The menu is constantly changing, so be prepared for surprises when you get to the restaurant. The cocktails are very complex and delightful. The Nashville pork croquette was a delightful spicy appetizer. My wife had the Norwegian halibut, a beautiful piece of fish, cooked perfectly with delightful sides to accompany. I had the roasted porchetta, which was savory, juicy and delicious. The greens and red eye gravy elevated it even more. We each got the chocolate torte for dessert because it was too good to share!

What a great place to eat! I had the lamb shank and my daughter had the wagyu steak. Both were excellent! Charcuterie plate and rhubarb/strawberry tart were superb! Great service also.

Wow! Just an amazing restaurant experience. Snuggled in a less busy part of Old Market this restaurant is high end dining at its best. Outstanding customer service and food that will be not only delicious but culinary works of art. GM, Emily is amazing and attentive and will make sure you are completely satisfied. The Boiler Room is perfect for special occasions where a ordinary meal won’t do. Reservations highly recommended.

Best dinner we’ve had in a long time. Husband’s pork chop was super tender and delicious and my swordfish was maybe the best cooked piece of fish I’ve ever had. Service was great. Food came out fast. Atmosphere was modern and kinda cool.

My boyfriend and I went to Boiler Room for the first time last night. The atmosphere is super romantic, cozy and the perfect place for a special celebration. My boyfriend ordered one of their signature drinks and I ordered a mocktail. Both drinks were good! For dinner I had the wagyu sirloin and my boyfriend had the wagyu ribeye. Both entrées were excellent! We will definitely be back!
