I normally don’t get this in-depth with the review but I feel like I need to. Bravo to the owner and his staff. I’ve had good customer service in the past I’ve had bad customer service in the past but I’ve never had customer service this perfect before. One of the burgers was just a little too red for somebody I was eating with not only did they remake the burger they also refunded us for it which was so far above and beyond I can’t express how grateful that I am. If people locally are not supporting this place I feel sad for them. Not only that the food was delicious The service was impeccable even though they were swamped they got us in and out and a reasonable amount of time. If this isn’t one of your destinations for lunch you’re really missing out. Thank you to the kind courteous staff and I believe the owner that was there. You have a repeat customer when we come back this way.

Took the family back to school shopping at the Lighthouse Mall and wanted to eat somewhere new. We found this place randomly on Google Maps and gave it a shot. It was AWESOME! The guy who took our order was very patient and fun, even gave suggestions when we were undecided. Food came out fast. We all ordered different items and each meal was delicious. No leftovers to take home! We left a tip in the tip jar and the owner thanked us, letting us know “the kids (the staff cooking/serving/cleaning) would be very appreciative”. We will absolutely be back.

My husband says these are the best burgers in town! My Chicago dog was absolutely amazing. I only knocked one star off because the warmer must not have been on for very long. My hot dog was actually cold, (not just from the toppings, the inside was cold too) BUT, I eat leftovers cold every day and stuff does happen. Truly not a deal breaker at all because it was still delicious. This won’t stop me from coming back ☺️

My friend ordered the Frisco burger. Supposed to have thousand island dressing. If there was any it was very little. I ordered cole slaw after being assured it was house made. It was just minced cabbage drowned in a corn syrup-y sweet liquid. It was a 3 ounce portion for 1.99. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, and at checkout they want a tip?

My food was too expensive! It wasn’t even that decent for a po boy. The cashier was had an attitude that I didn’t appreciate. Like don’t joke with my food considering it’s my first time here. The decorations were very nice, but it couldn’t match up with the food.

Just came from here, I ordered a shrimp po’boy and a chicken strip basket for my son. For $26.00 we got the sorriest excuse for a “chicken strip” basket I have ever seen. Literally frozen processed chicken strips from the grocery store would have been better. In the basket we got about 20 fries total and my po’boy has soggy bread. I live literally across the street from here and thought this would be our new “spot” NEVER AGAIN! Zero stars if I could.

This is my favorite Italian beef in Michigan City proper. The meat is tender, the gravy is subtly flavorful, and the bread is dense enough to hold up. I’ve tried the other popular local spots and prefer this version.

Well, I have ate here a few times now so I’m going to add my own two cents… To begin, I don’t care much for when you pay at the counter the computer asks if you want to leave a tip…? You must be kidding…? A guy takes your order at the window and you then have to walk over to the pick up window to get your order…! It is self serv, so who should get a tip? No waitresses or waiter, you wait on yourself…Ridiculous…! Then, the prices are a bit steep… A small beef sandwich and a small order of fries and a small coke will set you back $16.67, that’s right $16.67 and they ask you for a tip when you order…! LOL…The beef sandwich was good, nothing special and the fries were very good but not many…. Overall it’s ok but not worth what they are charging…
