Lives up to its name as the hotel has a large pier where lots of boats park. One of the few lake view restaurants in the city. We came on Fourth of July when there was a festival happening. Got a table in about 30 minutes, and service, although it was a little slower, was friendly. Food is a solid four. We had the shrimp poor boy, Stella’s chicken sandwich and the poke bowl with tofu. Bill was $75 for the three of us with no alcohol. It was a little alarming that nine plastic cups were used during our visit. Wish they would reuse them for refills, especially.

Service was great just like all of the Edgewater properties. Recommend 100% the burger with the cheese curds on top was amazing and went great with a spotted cow beer.

I can only comment on the beverages and atmosphere. The beverages were made perfectly. The atmosphere is perfect on the lake with dock seating.

What a wonderful venue. We went for fish and chips. Delicious. Great service, professional friendly staff. But no Southern Comfort for our favorite Old Fashions

Had the summer salad. Delicious. They no longer do take out. That was a bummer. Had to eat a little bit then ask for a box to carry out. All in all, it was great. I’d definitely go back.

Discovered the Boathouse recently and this has become my favorite summertime place to eat. Enjoy your meals with the awesome views of the lake. Sunset views are spectacular. Located in the Edgewater Hotel, you must visit The Boathouse for excellent food, service, and summer vibes.

Cheese curds appreterizer was so delicious worth it! They actually had cherry coke which I am a big fan of! Being right next to the lake was so beautiful and peaceful! It wasn’t a busy day. The weather was nice. The decor of the inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. Even the bathrooms were well kept. Our waitress and all the staff was friendly. 5 stars! We will be back!

I used to really enjoy this place, but the quality has been low lately. The food remains okay, but the service was not good last time around with us waiting 15 minutes just to get water and get asked what to drink, followed by another 15 just to receive one beer. I know wait staff are not easy to come by nowadays, but what made this experience frustrating was a lack of acknowledgment of the situation and seeing several wait staff/hosts just standing around and talking about personal things while the one assigned to our table seemed to be doing all of the work. I hope for a better situation in the future but I’m not looking to make that anytime soon.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening at The Boathouse. The food was excellent and fresh. Our waitress Lauren was knowledgable, attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and while no outside tables were available we had great seats by the window to enjoy the view. Highly recommend.
