Ok so my husband and I wanted to try a new spot. We traveled 46 miles (thanks google maps). It was well worth it for us. The place was empty because we showed up like 5 minutes after opening. By the time we left it was half full. This place is roomy, inviting, clean and the fact if you sit at high tables or the counter top you get to see the cooking process. They don’t hide anything. We shared the pastrami sandwich with coleslaw. The pastrami was so juicy, tender and flavorful. I normally do not get sandwiches with rye bread but I read a review and someone said it was the best they ever had and yes it was. The coleslaw was creamy not watery like most places. The side of sliced duck was melting in my mouth and so delicious. The side of Farmers cheese was so smooth with a bit of sour, perfect. Asked the brand and they said they make it in house which seems like they make most things in house. The salami board was a great size for the price and once again we loved every part of it. The special was blueberry mimosa so we got one and was delightful. They have a section that sells local goods and a table that is full of games. The service was great, we were asked how things were tasting even asked if I wanted another mimosa so um I said yes and she said just pay before you leave. Everything I saw pass by looked amazing. Looks like they do some live entertainment hence the stage photo. We will definitely travel 46 miles to eat here again.

Everything on the menu sounds delectable, it was hard to pick. We tried the combo board, pastrami sandwich, eggplant hummus and hot pretzel. The rye bread was the best rye I have ever had. The pastrami was moist and flavorful it was served with huge slices of dill pickle. The eggplant hummus was smooth, creamy and paired with everything on the charcuterie board. We will definitely be back to try more.

We live in Ferndale and have wanted to try the Boardroom but it was nothing like we expected. The atmosphere is okay at best but this was not what we were expecting.

This is my new favorite restaurant. Roomy comfortable atmosphere, super friendly staff. We shared a French dip and a Ruben. The pastrami was better than Katz deli in Brooklyn, NY and the French dip had the perfect amount of smoky flavor. Had an opportunity to nerd talk about charcuterie with one of the owners, Sonny. This was the best lunch experience I’ve had in very long time. We will be coming back, and bringing any visitors we have!!!

My experience,,,,first the food. Couldn’t describe what we didn’t get. Here’s my story. 6-22-23. My wife and myself went to your establishment for 2 reasons. First seeing the live entertainment and going to,,make that attempt to have dinner. At 5:45 pm, I put in our order. Nothing difficult at all, so I thought. Burgers, kettle chips, 2 drinks. Keep in mind when we came in, we were pretty much the only customers in the building. A little after 6:30 comes and no food. I go up to the counter and ask why the lengthy delay. Her explanation was the system didn’t send our order. I once again ordered the same thing again. She said she would expedite the order so we’d get it in 10 minutes. At this time the building was starting to fill up. Everyone seemed to get their orders,,,but us. We’re a little after 7pm and the same person who took our order,,,,twice and gave the lame explanation came to our table, bench and asked if we got our food,,mind you besides us and our phones,,they’re was absolutely nothing. My wife was not very happy,,kept her cool like myself. We decided to not eat there and just enjoy the live entertainment. She had the gall to offer us a complimentary dessert which we said no. Did I mention the kitchen crew was not busy at all when we ordered originally. A customer upon hearing what happened got us a dessert. We were very appreciative but not looking for something like that. All we asked and ordered a meal in which according to our”server” the cooks did see the ticket and still did absolutely nothing. As I mentioned previously, the now busy house were getting their orders,,ie drinks food ect.being that said, written, the experience was about as bad as it gets. We loved this place! The charcuterie board was one of my favorites I’ve ever had, especially as it introduced me to Marcona almonds. The macaroni and cheese was also super delicious! Would definitely recommend.

There were very few people and 5 employees when we dropped in for beer and pretzels on Sunday. Terrible service though. Employees were chatting and when I asked for mustard for our pretzels no one ever brought it.

I was very impressed, the food was phenomenal, great service and affordable priced. Good atmosphere, highly recommend this spot for a hot date or social gathering. The duck charcuterie plate was bomb. Feeling blessed to have something new, different, and delicious in this part of Humboldt. I will definitely be going back.
