Server was excellent! Hesitatingly suggesting they should find a better place to work however, as the food and presentation was below par. A nice, juicy bratwurst was insulted by a disheveled pretzel bun, with cold onions and gobs of mayo carelessly dribbled on top. French fries scattered across the tray with packets of mustard and a pickle on the side. Fair, the price was $9.99 (amazing for the airport) and the hunger was quenched, but a few bucks more for a better bratwurst would be far better. Tables needed a wipe prior to sitting down and the beer needed a coaster.

The staff were on point today. Four – 30–23 fun choices on the menu cold brews out of the tap. Reasonable prices with nice portions. The original fries came out cold. I let the server know. In another like 90 seconds I had a fresh hot bowl of fries. Now that service! Yes, they were swamped. Yes it was crowded. But that’s the way it is at the airport. Sometimes this isn’t real life. The server stepped up and crushed it.

Briefly stopped to perhaps grab a bite at the bar. There was a wait to be seated for tables sign. After patiently waiting, I simply asked an older waitress who was filling a drink “hi, the bar is open seating right?” So that I wouldn’t bother with waiting for next table. Unbelievably, the woman responds to me, “ I didn’t say that,” in perhaps the most obnoxious tone I’ve ever encountered at ANY restaurant in my 50 plus years on this earth. I simply replied , “ Have a nice day and left. That CU Next Tuesday should be educated and better trained in her job—or just fired as I cannot can’t imagine what makes a person so mean spirited. Hard to imagine how much business she runs out.

I had a great experience here while waiting for my flight. I was here for dinner and had a friendly server. I ordered the Blues Burger with a side of fries. The food came out in a quick amount of time, and was cooked perfectly. My burger was tasty and the fries were very good. Overall, this is a great location located in the airport. The food was good, the staff were friendly, and the prices were decent. I would visit again!

Good thing the burger was good or we would have started and ended poorly. Spicy fries? No, it’s basically paprika, they’re cold, and no salt. The issue: To-go person left, no clue when they’d be back. I had to be seated to make a to-go order. Not sure why the guy that sat me just couldn’t have a server ring me up. Burger was good but the fries sucked – can’t say I’d come back for a $13 burger only. Should have asked for more remoulade, it was tasty.

We had an hour to kill before our next flight and enjoyed a great, quick meal at the Blue Note. I had the Blues Burger that had some amazing beer cheese – beware, it may be messy! Our waitress was stressed but attentive. The place models itself after the St. Louis Blues.

Ate here on a Sunday evening. Got sat quickly and drinks, looked over the menu. Our server was very nice. Maybe it was because I was hungry but our food seemed to take awhile. This was some of the best airport food I’ve had. For the price it could’ve been a little bigger. But nothing complain-able. Will keep this in mind for next time we visit this airport.

Bartender named Brandon was hungover or something and acting jaded. Tossing coasters and plates around instead of setting them down normally. But that was the least of my disappointment. I like hockey and good food and beer so I decided to stop for lunch. Look at the photo. This sandwich costs $13 and this is how much blue cheese dressing comes on it. I couldn’t even taste it. This was the worst and most expensive sandwich I’ve ever had. I should have just went to Burger King. This place sucks and doesn’t care about quality. The only reason it’s not getting one star is because the sweet potato fries were good, even though they were cold when I got them, and they had my favorite brew on tap.

Do not wait in line for this place! I rarely post bad reviews but feel compelled to. Airport restaurants have a low bar. Fast service with average food is the benchmark. Blue Note fails on both.

Unfortunately we only enjoyed 1 of 3 of our meals here. The burger and fries were good. Unfortunately the crab cake and flatbread pizza were not. The crab cake was mushy and not fresh, while the pizza was far from being an actual flatbread. We appreciated the manager coming out to speak with us and not putting these to items on the tab. it’s unfortunate we had a terrible server, Travis, who couldn’t say thank you for his tip.
