Where do I begin. The staff was super nice and greeted us as we came in. Our waitress gave us some food good recommendations.

The humble store front of this unassuming restaurant does not do the delicious food justice. The pork tenderloin and house-made sweet potato English muffin were highlights of the Classic Benedict, but the generous portion of silky hollandaise and herbaceous roasted red potatoes truly set it apart. What a unique and delectable brunch spot. A must try!

UPDATE: Went back for brunch – it was ok. Seattle scramble is super cheesy. Appreciate the lots of potatoes.

Second time there. It’s a beautiful space, and the staff is amazing. I ordered the risotto. It was not good. Tasted like wet cardboard smells. The first time I was there, the food was great!!! Our server was very kind and took it off our bill. Honey loved his burger! Don’t be discouraged from going by this review. It may have just been an off night for that particular dish. I will definitely go again. Just won’t order the risotto.

Sat outside. Waitress was really nice and friendly. She got all the drinks orders quickly and correct for our party of eight during happy hour on a Friday night. Food was OK but nothing special. The fries were average at best.

This is a neighborhood gastropub essentially. I think it is underrated and not super well know but that’s okay because it means I can get a table when it strikes my fancy. I love the mussels and the ahi tuna. Their salads and sandwiches are good fare. The atmosphere is hard to describe and not sure it makes sense. You could call it artsy or chill or neighborhood vibe. But that is possibly part of the charm. I like the outdoor seating so I usually go more in the warmer weather. The relaxed vibe, although nice, does not match the gourmet prices.

First, service was excellent. My girlfriend and I shared several items and the waitress made sure things came out one at a time so we could take our time and enjoy the food and drinks. The salad and seared ahi were excellent. However the fish part of the fish and chips was extremely disappointing. The breading was like wet paper when the dish came out, appearing as if it had been microwaved. It’s a shame because it was good fish.

Had delicious cocktails (rye old fashioneds) and food here this past week. The Blue Glass came as a recommendation and didn’t disappoint. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that the staff was kind of cranky. Not once did they smile or really show they cared about us as customers even though we were sitting right at the bar in front of them and tried to open a dialog with them. Don’t get me wrong, the service was fine, it just could have been a lot friendlier. Give it try for yourself.

Was very disappointed with the food. If you have high standards for food this isn’t the place. The service was good, I ordered small plates based on my shellfish allergy which i was assured they could accommodate and within the hour my face broke out and my tongue and lips were swollen. We had the truffle fries wich were okay and the brussels, they were drenched and oily not to mention very vinegar forward. My friend ordered a steak rare and it came out half midwell to well done and the other part rare to med-rare very uneven cook. I ordered the braised short rib with polenta for myself and for my partner who was coming late to join for dinner. The first short rib came out Luke warm and the butternut squash in the dish was so overcooked it was mush. So I told the server we didn’t want the second one which he still charged us for but gave us 30% discount on.

Had a wonderful time catching up with a friend and enjoying the Ballard gem. Don’t sleep on 65th street, it’s not in the “downtown” part but it’s got some incredible little shops, including The Blue Glass. We were seated on the small patio they have then the windows are open which provided excellent people watching all while sipping freshly brewed coffee and catching up. We were there pretty early on a Sunday so it was relatively quiet, but perfect time to enjoy the morning sun before it got too hot. Our fantastic server was attentive without being pushy, super personable (nail polish twins with my bestie) and kept us watered and caffeinated throughout the meal.
