The food was great and the service wonderful! Everything was so fresh and the artichoke spinach dip was the best I’ve ever had! As well as the bacon wrapped meatballs. My son especially raved about them. The owner even came over and asked how everything was. So refreshing! Overall it was a really fun and tasty experience and we are looking forward to going back soon.

We went on a Saturday evening around 5:30 pm and were seated right away. The restaurant is quaint with a small bar area and seating. They have some outside seating. Wait staff were friendly and we had great service. Two people in our party had hamburgers, which they raved about through the entire meal. Side salads were very large with all the extras. The chicken pesto sandwich looked delicious as well. I ordered the special which was a shephards pie. It was served in a large crock, which I didn’t think I would be able to finish. It was so good I ate the entire thing! I could tell it was made from scratch and the gravy did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back.

Well, it was their first Friday night, so I gave them a 2 instead of a one, as maybe they will get better. Jambalaya didn’t have one shrimp; fish and chips were overcooked and I was told it was supposed to be that way. (they did make it right however) Wings were good but took so long to come for an appetizer. Service and food were slow, maybe they need more kitchen help. I saw several frustrated patrons, why didn’t the servers? I don’t know how they got 5 stars by the other 7 reviewers. Maybe they ordered different better dishes. I hope they read this and step it up. Rox needed a third sit down restaurant

This had previously been Angel’s Kitchen, and now has new owners. I was skeptical at first , but I was impressed with the food selection and craft beers on tap. It’s nice to have a modern upscale experience nestled right in the heart of Rox. I ended up getting the pulled pork sandwich, which had pulled pork, bacon, and ham on it. Sweet potato fries were done to perfection. Staff was very attentive, and we got plenty of attention. Would definitely come back, looking forward to trying more of their menu. Only suggestion is to open up on Sundays- we ended up having to go elsewhere!

We only had a few appetizers (bacon wrapped meatballs are great!) and a couple beers, but this is a great replacement for Angel’s Share. More reasonable prices, more family friendly, and the service was good.

The Jambalaya is neither Cajun nor Creole. It’s more akin to a tomato soup with Jambalaya components dropped in. Definitely not what this Southern boy expected… nor very good, the tomato overwhelms everything else.

Food is good! Creative recipes are appealing. Great craft brew options! Unfortunately, staff are selectively friendly. I was happy to have another local pub as an option. But I will remember my lukewarm service.

We have very few restaurant options in Roxborough and almost no options for food delivery (with the exception of an Asian restaurant in the area that has had mixed reviews). I had a really rough day yesterday and just wanted to stay home, eat something tasty and chill The only problem was, I didn’t have anything tasty to eat, so I decided to call Blue Spruce for food delivery and I ordered their ziti pasta dish and their strawberry salad. OMG! Superb! So very good. And it came in less than 30 minutes (I ordered before 5 pm). I would definitely eat here again!

After reviewing the menue, it was what I expected. Overpriced super average food with small portions. It would seem the main focus is on sandwitches and burgers. The appetizers were lack luster. Had the mac n cheese bites. They were crispy on the outside but a solid mass in the middle and were served with a side of beer cheese. We also had the artichoke dip and chips. The dip was the typical out of the jar artichokes and the white sauce had next to no flavor. The chips were out of a bag and not fried fresh and should have just been offered with the beer cheese. Also if you have beer cheese you should be rocking a soft pretzel on the menue. Easy to make and pure profit. My main dish was the baked ziti, this by far was the most disappointing. Sauce was from a can and could have been doctored up but the chef didn’t bother. Fennel overpowered everything in the dish to the point it was like they let a child help out in the kitchen.
