This place is absolutely amazing! I went on a hot day, the staff did an amazing job at making sure everyone always had a good drink! Not just my table but everyone. My first impression wasn’t too great as it seemed small. Most of the business seating was outdoor. This allowed for a great view of the lake! The owner kept walking around and checking up on people. Making it feel as if they actually cared about the people whom stepped into the restaurant. Now for the food. I went out on a limb and we ordered things we don’t normally eat out due to being traumatized, as most restaurants I’ve gone to tend to mess it up.

Great atmosphere! Delicious burger! Didn’t get a picture of the amazingly delicious Brussels sprouts. Best I’ve had in a long time! The combination of a sort of teriyaki flavor, topped with aioli sauce and ginger shavings was totally unique!!! And they weren’t overcooked. Service was good as well.

I went to the Blind pig with a group of girls to celebrate one of their birthdays. We went at night and the ambience was delightful. Would be a romantic date night as well. I got the beef tacos which were generous portion. I ate three of them and were very full. Lots of flavors in them and beautifully presented. Love the location on the Lake in Rancho Santa Margarita. The blind pig was a good visit as it does have a pretty good selection in drinks. It however has a limited food menu but did deliver strong on it’s presentation of dishes. The karaage was definitely a banger with how crispy the chicken looks, the shishito peppers nicely added flavor and the lemon zest + aioli with it made that appetizer the most worth of the selection. The beef tartare could definitely benefit from “beefing” it up with a bit more. The braised beef tacos were mouthwatering and the pork tenderloin dish was pretty good with the chimichurri. Overall worth coming for the drinks and if you’re hungry, get the karaage .
