Formerly the Headmaster’s Pub, this restaurant is under new ownership and management now. We have really enjoyed the food we’ve tried there so far. My favorites would include anything involving the breakfast biscuits, which might be some of the best biscuits I’ve ever had; and the mushroom gnocchi on the dinner menu, which are so light and pillowy that they barely hold together. My husband really likes the fried chicken. The have a good selection of craft beer, and interesting cocktails.

Went for the first time and our expectations were blown away!! I ordered the mushroom gnocchi, which I would’ve loved to add chicken to for extra protein (was told this wasn’t an option which I found odd since chicken is an add on option for the salads), but was still yummy nonetheless. The gnocchi itself tasted homemade, and the sauce was AMAZING. Everything tasted fresh and seemed locally sourced (especially the mushrooms, which we noticed weren’t your “typical” mushrooms) which is something we look for when choosing dinner options. Noticed a bunch of burgers being sent out while we waited for our food, so it’ll be a tossup of if I order the gnocchi again or go for a burger next time!

Visited for lunch with an 18 month old, and the staff was so sweet and accommodating. Had a black bean burger, beer cheese fries and a beer, and everything was great. Service was good and quick as well. The place itself looks nice, awesome use of an old school gym (?), big space, but feels quite cozy with the lights and decorations. Will for sure come back if I’m ever in the area again.

Cool spot with good food, we sat outside on a pretty evening. The smash burgers were really good and the fried brussel sprouts were fantastic.. they had a unique ginger sauce that was really yummy! They also had a gluten free hamburger roll which was cool.

Had the pleasure of stopping by here for diner and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly and attentive and our meals were excellent. We had their fried chicken and chicken and rice dishes and they were delicious and reasonably priced. Any extra wait time more than we’re used to for our food was understandable and worth the time. Their food is fresh, local, and prepared on order. Would hands down recommend a stop here and will surely stop again next time near. Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

Another patron suggested the fries boasting how great they were even though they came just fried and salted. We ordered a double smash burger with fries and a double order or crispy brussel sprouts. Everything tasted delicious but what I liked the best were the basic fries.

First time in since new ownership. Five of us stopped at the bar on a long ride very friendly and courteous. We didn’t eat but a young service man seated beside us had a double burger that looked and smelled divine.

What a great find during our vacation to the area! We’ve had lunch here twice, so far. Delicious food and excellent service. The Brussel sprouts appetizer, bursting with flavor, the burgers were amazing. Great side order choices! Home made desserts are outstanding, try the peach pie! Stop in you’ll be glad you did!
