So good!! My husband got chocolate chip pancakes and a breakfast sandwich and I got their two hotdog special. Everything was amazing! This place is a hidden gem! Will definitely come back and check out the rooftop bar as well.

I am writing this as I sit in this diner. Let the waitress recommend the chicken and waffles and accept this recommendation. They are the most heavenly sweet waffles with juicy chicken. While you’re at it, you have to try the homemade cheese biscuits. When they have bacon in them they look like little crabs! It’s so cute! The taste is how a biscuit should taste. 10 out of 10, you guys should give this place a try!

Just know that the bar and the food are different. We went to get bloody Mary’s and the bar doesn’t open til 11 and is not this place. Really nice staff but not what we were looking for.

Great service! Awesome food! Great portions. I ordered takeout and they made sure I had everything I could need. I don’t normally rate restaurants due to being able to be off on any certain day. But I felt the need to share what a great meal this was. We will be back.

The ladies working there deserve a raise! Their friendliness, hospitality, and their cooking really makes this place. We went for breakfast BOTH days because they were so friendly and the food was really good. I highly recommend.

The food was overpriced. They did not prepare the food the way I had ordered. My over medium eggs were almost completely fried and the yoke was hard. The eggs, bacon, and toast all seem to have been fried on the same grill. The person who took my order, said they had hashbrowns however, they actually serve breakfast potatoes. I would not eat here again.

I got the chicken and waffles what they fail to tell you is the sugar pearl waffles are frozen and will come soggy with your three not so fresh chicken tenders. The same goes for the sausage pattys. Youre better off at waffle house. Service was fine not much interaction to go off of.

OMG!! This place is killing it in the breakfast game! Carteret county finally has a great amazing place to get breakfast. You must try the cheese biscuit it’s life changing!!!! And OMG the chicken & waffles are the BEST. The grits are hands down the best. I could go on & on! Just get to The bite at the box!!!! OH and not only is the food AMAZING but the place is spotless & the staff is super kind!
