This place is wonderful. I had never been here before, but the food is really down home. OMG, the friend cornbread, to die for, perfect, not greasy at all. Same with the fried pork chop. I Will definitely be back, quite often! The folks working there are kind and friendly, even the guests were happy and kind, they knew they were in for a treat! I highly recommend. As I understand it (after asking around), the meals are pretty set for each day, so grab a menu and visit the days you like, oh heck, go every day and try everything!

Best southern food cafeteria I’ve been to in a long time and the food was absolutely delicious. I could help myself and I had to ask you to cook was to let them know the great the food was. Tavares the front man running the show was just polite as could be. Monday’s it’s $10 even for a great meal meet two sides in a drink can’t go wrong I’ll be back every day. Lol.

When I think of Soul Food & Sunday Dinner… this is the place‼️ Everything that I remember about the kitchen growing up – the sounds, the smells, and the laughter is present here. The owners are amazing professionals with excellent vision and execution for their service offering. Eat here.

Heard it was a good place. So I go in and there’s about five trays of some food that I don’t know what the hell it is. Also, it’s hotter than hell in there zero air-conditioning I can’t eat in a place that feels like a furnace. I bought some food, but I didn’t eat it because it didn’t seem to sanitary in there. I drop the bag right in the dumpster.

The food use to be so delicious but I don’t know what happened honestly. The chicken & lima beans is so tasteless even with hot sauce. The Mac n cheese is nasty period. Corn bread use to be golden and nicely fried not anymore. 1/10

No AC so if you don’t want to get hot then do take out. Food and service is worth the drive from the beach! Cool atmosphere with Jazz music!
