This was our 1st time visiting and we will NOT be back. My partner had the lamb chops and the sauce was so overloading you couldn’t taste the lamb. Not to mention it was ordered medium rare and was more like a medium-medium well. The smell of the lamb chop in sauce was atrocious! It smelled absolutely horrible and the guy 3 tables down said the same thing.I had the whiskey drunken ribeye and it was just okay. Again over bearing with sauce you could barely taste the meat. The twice baked potatoes were good and the green beans for sides were good. My partner had mac n cheese and twice baked potato for sides. The mac n cheese was very bland also ( i tried it too). We were a party of 2 and sat next to a party of 6. The party of 6 was having a good time. Our waitress came to our table and started loudly talking smack about the party of 6 next to us, loud enough they could hear. Saying the table is too loud so fourth and so on. Overall our server was rude for the most part and didn’t really know what she was doing. She over charged us which we spoke to her about amongst other things. She also uses the menu to cover her mouth multiple times when she coughed. Jacks chophouse is way better. I highly doubt we’ll ever be back to the Bistro.

The wait time for our food was entirely too long!! We waited over an hour after having ordered appetizers only to watch the entire restaurant of patrons receive their food and eat their meals while we patiently waited to receive our appetizers. Finally, after over an hour we received our salads followed by the appetizer we ordered. The chicken florentine flatbread pizza was pretty good and turned out to be the best part of our meal. As soon as we received the appetizer, we asked our waitress to go ahead and put in our entree orders which we waited another hour to receive. Mind you, the restaurant was not very crowded at all!! I ordered crab cakes and my husband ordered the lamb chops. My crab cakes were burned on the bottom and crumbling. The garlic mashed potatoes were bland and tasted instant. The lamb chops were smothered with some type of gravy/sauce that was almost inedible and too salty. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning to The Bistro in the future!

The food here is always brilliant and if there is anything ever wrong, the owner is always on point. The waitresses are wonderful and the drinks are very well made. We love going for dinner here.

My brother’s and I had a birthday dinner for dad here. It’s a small place with limited seating so everyone would need to show up together really. The staff was really helpful in getting space for everyone. The food was great and drinks were even better. I ordered stuffed cod w/crab, salad, and mac n cheese. A little on salty side except salad however, really tasty. I ended up ordering another meal to go which was lamb chops, mashed potatoes, and green beans. That’s a dish everyone should try it’s fabulous . Crab cakes were appetizers also splendid but the chicken florentine flatbread were over cooked unfortunately. Finally, hats off to bartender whose a great mixologist my martini wet ny palette well.

4th time here and first bad meal. My cod was super salty and my wife’s steak was like leather. Ordered medium but came well done . My Old fashion was not an old fashion but the espresso martini was excellent. Service was ok. If this was my first experience here, i would not come back but the previous times were much better so we may try again.

I took my husband here for date night. The food is superb, but the service was a little slow. However, the food made up for the waiting. We would go again.

My husband and I went here for a date night. It’s such a cute little place. We waited around 45 minutes for our appetizer and about another 30 minutes for our entrees. My steak was wayyyy over cooked. We told the waitress and offered to take it back to the kitchen but we had already waited so long, I didn’t want to wait any longer so I said no. She didn’t offer anything else to make up for it. Very offputting when you charge $32 for a steak you can’t even cook correctly. So disappointed. 2 stars for how cute they were and the appetizer was really good. We won’t be back.

The Bistro hasn’t failed me yet. Delicious food and one of Valdosta’s more fine dining experiences. It has become a favorite for my husband and I.

The food was delicious . Their service not so great . Extra premium side of salad $6 had not arrived halfway through entree . Brought to waitress attention who said “I’ll go get it “. Not I’m sorry – do you still want it ? 2/3 rd way she plops it down – no I’m sorry . Owner who sees our uneaten salad after meal completion inquires and immediately offers to take it off our check and apologized and said we have to do better .So demand your employees do better or get new employees. She seemed old school you can’t teach me manners kind of gal . The restaurant was busy and I was happy to see -. Just wish employees came with a smile , manners , a desire to please and friendliness these days .
