The Birds and The Beans is a collaborative effort between Ridgefield School District and Killa Bites. Students enrolled in the CAPS program designed the concept in 2019. Students continue to be involved in the management and marketing decisions with guidance from Killa Bites. The shop is a gathering place for all ages. The vision for it is to keep the small-town feeling of Ridgefield alive amidst all the growth and change. It is located inside The RACC, formerly View Ridge Middle School. While the building has been updated, memories remain.
