In the mood for authentic Greek food with style this is the place. Euro most flavorful and several variations available. Chicken, shrimp or house special you need to try them all.. Flafel and Greek salad to die for. Fast take out and minimal line even when busy. Will be back.

The Big Greek Cafe is wonderful. I love their falafel bowl, which comes with a side of really tasty pita bread done just right. Everything is very flavorful and fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff are always friendly every time I’ve been in. Food made to order, but doesn’t take very long at all. The big greek bowl pictured here has falafel as the protein. It has layers of fresh lettuce, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, and a nice serving of white rice in the bottom. Love the spicy hummus and tzatziki on top. A great addition to the area!

I cannot say enough about how amazing this place was. The food is so delicious and the multitude of options are great. I was grateful to find rice, steamed veggies, and even vegetarian options as well as deserts. This place is by far one of the cleanest, healthiest, tastiest places I’ve been. Only downside? None in PA or upstate NY near Albany. I’ll be thinking about this falafel for a long time until I come through MD again.

We used to eat at this place in Silver Spring and the food was always so fresh and perfectly made. This place in Urbana is not quite the same. 1st time it was good second time not so much. You could tell it was not fresh and the cook did not understand the correct ratio of ingredients to put in the gyro.

I dig mom and pop/small chain for Mediterranean food. For Greek food this place has decent offerings but it lacks in authentic taste. It may be trying to appeal to more bland pallet but I was disappointed. It’s nice clean well staffed joint, wish they could offer more Greek as promised. In NoVa try SouvlakiBar!
